Sunday, September 2Moravian vs. Ramapo 12 p.m.

1 Elizabethtown and Dickinson haven’t faced one another in nearly a decade, with the last game between the two played back in 2010, a win for the Blue Jays. E-town owns a 43-7-2 all-time record against the Red Devils.

2 Each team started off their respective seasons yesterday. Elizabethtown shut out Frostburg State on the road 2-0, the second straight season the Blue Jays have blanked the Bobcats. It was also E-town’s first season-opening shutout win since 2007 when they beat Misericordia 3-0. Lauren Scheib and Olivia Beachley scored for EC in the win. Goalie Margo Donlin made two saves to earn the fourth shutout of her career. Speaking of Misericordia, Dickinson played fifth-ranked Salisbury at Misericordia University in a neutral site game. The Gulls held on to defeat the Red Devils by a 1-0 final.

3 The Blue Jays made the postseason once again under head coach Brandy Michael. It was the fourth straight playoff appearance in the Landmark Conference and ninth overall under Michael’s tenure. E-town was the fourth seed and fell at top-seeded Catholic in the semifinal round.

Elizabethtown was picked in a tie for third with defending champion Juniata in the conference’s preseason poll with Catholic favored to win the 2018 crown.

4 Dickinson returns leading point producer Chelsea Kramer, who had a team-high 27 points (11g, 5a) over the 17-game season. Kramer led the Red Devils in all major offensive categories. Jillian Beemon was a 2017 All-Centennial Conference Second Team selection.

5 Elizabethtown is on the road, at Stockton, on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m.
