It’s recital time again! All students are busy practicing their pieces to perform at out next recit- al on June 10. Popular songs, movie themes, clas- sical repertoire and duets will be included in the program. Support your student by inviting friends and rela- tives to be a part of this end of year event. There are plenty of seats, so invite as many people as you like! All students are required to participate in the recit- al. Sign up for a recital group time that will help avoid schedule conflicts on the day. We start on time so be sure to select a group that will allow you to arrive 10 minutes early and stay for the entire recital. Presentation of certifi- cates and a short recep- tion follows each recital group. Please bring a plate of goodies to share. Thank you!! Sign up for the dates that work with your sum-

mer vacation and other activities.

Lessons are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays

and Thursdays. The morning time slots go fast,

so don’t delay!

Please contact Carol as soon as possible to

select your time slot.

Summer Lesson Schedule

Parents … Next week you will receive an email to help with re-enrollment and

scheduling requirements for the 2017-2018 piano year.

Please take the time to read the email and fill out the form and submit it by May 30 to

reserve your child’s place in the studio. Please indicate if your child will continue les-

sons next year. You will be able to select a new lesson time if you need to. This is

also the time to register new sibling students for 2017-2018. If you have questions or

concerns, please contact Carol directly. Thank you!

Adventures in Composing for kids 7 to 11. Meet Muttzart and Ratmaninoff as you

learn cool composing tricks that will have you writing your own compositions in no

time, right from the first lesson!

Christmas in July for all ages and levels. Learn your favorite Christmas songs so

that you are ready to play for those special occasions at Christmas.

Pop Star Pro for all ages and levels. Choose your favorite popular songs and learn

to play them using lead sheets with awesome left hand chord accompaniment. It’s easy

when you know how!

Arranging and Song Writing for level 3A and above. Do you have a song running

around in your head? Would you like to arrange your own version of a song but don’t

know where to start? Then, this option is for you! We’ll learn how to arrange and

use notation software to produce professionally printed sheet music.

Method Book Blaster for levels 2A-5. Blast through your method books super fast.

Move up a level by the end of summer. It can be done!!

Thamira Skandakumar performed Nocturne in F minor, Op. 55, No. 1 by Frederic Chopin in the high

school division. Thamira’s performance earned a superior rating and she was selected as second alternate

for state competition.

Emily Rosenkranz performed Ballade, Op. 100 No. 15 by J. F. Burgmuller in the middle school division.

Emily’s performance earned an excellent rating.
