Imagine if every believer could answer that question with the name of a person who is far from God—a person for whom they’re praying and with whom seeking to share the gospel. That’s the intention behind Who’s Your One. We believe God’s people don’t merely need another method for evangelism—what they need is a white-hot passion to see people who are far from God experience the new life He offers through Jesus Christ. Over the coming days, our church and countless others will prioritize personal ownership of the Great Commission as we each intentionally pursue one person with the hope of the gospel. At times, it seems the mission is simply too complex and too vast for churches like ours and people like us. While we can’t do everything, we can do something. We can all take responsibility for one. And, because of God’s power and the work of His Spirit, each of our ones can add up to make a significant impact for God’s kingdom. Inside this issue Fall Discipleship Classes! Grandparents Raising GrandchildrenWednesdays, September 18th - October 23th (6 Weeks)6:45 PM - 8:00 PMChapel 102-104

Today, more and more grandparents find themselves once again in the parenting role. This support group is an opportunity to meet with others in the same role and share experiences, receive encouragement, prayer, information and possible solutions to problems you are encountering. Led by Bill and Wanda Turner.

Children’s DiscipleshipWednesdays at 6:45 pm

• Challengers (Grades 1 -2)• Conquerors (Grades 3-4)• Champions (5th Grade) (K4-Kindergarten)

Word of Life’s Children’s Ministry Program is built on a powerful goal: to lay a solid foundation of biblical principles at a young age in the lives of children. We want to teach them from the very start the important fundamentals of spiritual growth. The Olympian ministry is built on an important theme in Scripture; the Olympic athlete. Paul uses this illustration often saying that he wanted to “finish the race.” Gopher Buddies uses age appropriate materials to teach those principals to early learners ages 4-6.

Nehemiah - Daytime Women’s StudyWednesdays, September 18th - October 30th (7 Weeks)1:30 PM Chapel 101-103

Nehemiah’s heart was so broken for those in need that he left the comfort of his Persian palace to help them. This study challenges women to let God break their hearts for a hurting, lost world and move them in compassion to lead people to Jesus.Led by Imogene Mitchell.

Callahan First is looking forward to a great community outreach this year! First and foremost we need to collect lots of candy for our guests. Please scan the list and see what your Bible Fellowship Group has been assigned to stock the event and bring as many bags as you can! Plan to decorate your vehicle (and yourself) and hand out candy too. The more welcoming faces we present to our community the better.
