Members of the ITE CO/WY Section ...

It is, as always, hard to be-lieve that the summer has flown by and we are already at the start of a new Section year—while parents every-where are breathing sighs of relief that the children are back in school, traffic engi-neers everywhere are bearing up under the annual on-slaught of school-related traf-fic complaints that inevitably come up in the first few

weeks of the new school year. For those of us who fall into both categories, conflicting emotions at their finest!

With the advent of the new Section year and my tenure as President of the Section, I would like to welcome our new Secretary-Treasurer, Ryan Germeroth, who is just starting to really understand what he has gotten himself into as he settles into his new and critical role—he is a valuable addition to our current officer team.

We have also had several changes on our Executive Committee—Melissa Rosas has decided to step down from the Scholarship and Career Guidance Committee and her role will be filled by Alex Larson. Many thanks to Melissa for her diligence and years of service, and we look forward to working with Alex moving forward. Ad-ditionally, Bill Hange has decided to step down from his Awards Committee role but our previous Past President John La Sala has stepped up to the plate to take a swing at those duties.
