water to be moved following the shock

wave.

30 minutes to 1 hour delay after the

earthquake.

It is not always easy to see the tsunami

indication at the beach that¶s why we

need to closely monitor information from

authorized agency/personnel. (BMKG-

Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi danGeofisika).

Avoid to live in area close to open sea

and historically tsunami proven.

The rain may make increase

Inside a building (House/School)Inside a building (House/School)

Pay attention to location bill.

Find a way out to safer place when

possible (open area, no building,no electric mast, no big tree).

Or protect your self and family from

injuries below desk or table.

If you are in the middle of cooking,

turn of the fire.

If possible turn off electricity from

main fuse.




In the lift

Do not use lift incase of earth quake/fire.

If you are inside the lift when the earthquake

happens, press all buttons. When the lift stopped

go out from the lift and find a way out through

stairway.

If you are trapped inside the lift, use theinterphone and communicate with security.

Inside a building (shopping mall, movie theatre)

Do not panic. Move to exit/emergency door as per

instruction from authorized personnel (security)





The mountains

In the mountains, there is high risk of landslide. Find a safe place and

evacuate there.

The beaches

In the beach, there is risk of landslide and Tsunami. If you feel any

earthquake, its better to move to higher and stabil land.






In the train

Hang on to strong mast, so when the train stopped immediately you will not fall

down.

In the car

You loose control of your car when the earth quake hit you.

Stop the car in safe place, avoid road cross section.

Listen to the radio.

Build strong construction building

no quality cut-watch contractors work

Hazard mapping

(volcano, earthquake, landslide, tsunami, etc)

Continuous people education

Active in safety training in the office and local neighborhood

(fire fighting, first aid, evacuation drill, etc.)

Prepare local emergency equipments when necessary (fire extinguisher, local rescue team, etc)

Prepare contingency plan
