Message from Mr. OhshiroFreedom. We all desire to live a life free from chains. We don’t want to be shackled through poor physical health, diseased finances or unempowered relationships. We want to cut the chains and live in the bright light of powerful and unencumbered happiness.

Freedom is also our birthright. We are not slaves to anyone or any prison. But when

our lives deteriorate in any of the Three Healths above (physical, monetary or

peace of mind), we forget that indeed we ARE born to be free and to chase our dreams. It’s my hope that you will

recall your highest RIGHT to be free, and that you’ll chase and realize that

freedom.

I’ve seen what losing freedom can do to people. I’ve experienced the pain and misery

people feel when they lose sight of their birthright to be free. They become sullen, dark, removed, angry, and even extremely lonely.

Our mission at Enagic is to remind people of their intrinsic greatness, which is found only through giving bir th to RE AL freedom . Once we show p eople the example of our own freedom and the power of living a life of Triple Health in Enagic, they too, begin the search for their true selves. Indeed, we plant the seeds of freedom through the example of our own lives.

When people of Enagic pass on the message of True Health, they are making every moment a Day of Freedom. They are celebrating the freedom of a life well lived through Enagic. Their radiant smiles, healthy lifestyles, powerful co m -passion and mutually-beneficial relationships stands as the Flags of Freedom for others to see.

I urge you to appreciate your Freedom, to explain it to others, and to polish it daily. Freedom is best tasted and shared with others so they too, might realize True Health and, in turn, can share their knowledge and passion with others. This is pre-cisely what I mean by the Circle of Compassion.

Enagic 45th Anniversary

San Diego, California is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the entire United States; visited by tens of millions of people each year. According to the San Diego Tourism Authority, nearly 35 million people visited the popular city in 2016. In June 2019, San Diego

received another spike in visitors as thousands of Enagic distributors from all over the world gathered to celebrate success, network with fellow distributors, and learn from top leaders at the Enagic 2019 Global Convention and 45th Anniversary celebration!

Friday marked the first “official” day of the convention and started with a private 6A2-3 and Above meeting, personally led by Mr. Ohshiro.

With all of the top distributors in attendance, Mr. Ohshiro discussed the future of Enagic and explained innovative and exciting ideas which are expected to bring continued growth and success for Enagic heading into 2020 and beyond.

W hile the private 6A2-3 meeting was in process, there was also a special Spanish-speaking distributor training being conducted by Enagic

Spanish leader, Omar Ramirez. He was joined on stage by several of the top Spanish-speaking distributor leaders, including the “Kangen Girl” Stephanie Contreras. This was an outstanding training and was greatly appreciated by all of the Spanish-speaking attendees.

Shortly after the 6A2-3 and Above leadership meeting and the special Spanish training had concluded, the day-one general session of the

convention began with the introduction of all the countries in attendance. After the opening speech by Enagic CEO Mr. Ohshiro, distributor leader Cynthia Briganti took the stage to inspire her fellow distributors to seize the day. After her speech, newly advanced 6As, 6A2s and 6A2-2s were invited to the stage and recognized for their achievements. They were followed by speeches given by three “Rising Stars” in Enagic Christina Li, Shannon Redman and Marilee Lessley. After the speeches, a presentation was given by distributor leader

Joko Cahyadi. Distributors were able to stretch their legs and shake their limbs during a short musical break to the beat of live music from the group Republic of Music. The musical intermission was followed by an introduction of members of the Enagic Golf Academy. After the golf academy introductions, the first keynote speaker, Chris Gardner, whose life story was the inspiration for the motion picture The Pursuit of Happyness, staring, Will Smith, took the stage. He delivered an inspiration speech about pursuing your dreams and living your best life. The end of the first-day session was capped off with a presentation by Romi Verdera, one of the most beloved distributors in the Enagic family

After the conclusion of the day-one general session, attendees prepared for a private 80’s themed after party

at PARQ, a popular nightclub in downtown S a n D ie g o . T h e Ve n u e w a s r e s e r ve d exclusively for the Enag ic convent ion. Distributors partied and danced the night away to the music of a live 80’s tribute band and enjoyed delicious desser ts and many photo opportunities!

T he Day 2 session star ted with a morning training of the Enagic Web System(EWS), the official and only approved online presence for

Enagic distributors, hosted by Steven Trapp, with Eric and Darryl Prusak conducting the training via live web stream. They discussed the functionality of the system and upcoming additions and improvements were also

detailed. After the EWS t r a i n i n g , t h e g e n e r a l session commenced with a special performance by Taiko Drums, which are a t rad it ional Japanese percussion instrument that has deep roots in ancient Japan. After their powerful performance Mr. Ohshiro again took to the stage to

deliver his final address of the convention. After Mr. Ohshiro a few Enagic corporate staff

were asked to say a few

words, which was followed by the first guest speaker, newly ranked 6A2-5 Dang Nguyen. Mr. Nguyen spoke about the importance of teamwork and thanked his entire team for their support and dedication. Afterwards there was a special recognition of some of the top leaders and each was presented with a token of Mr. Ohshiro’s thanks and appreciation. Following this special recognition, the next guest speaker, Matthieu Jang, took to the stage to discuss his Enagic journey. After sharing his thoughts and business insights the stage was cleared to recognize the newly ranked up 6A2-3s and above. Each newly advanced 6A2-3 and above appeared on stage and Mr. Ohshiro personally gave each of them with an exclusive gold Enagic lapel pin. After the pinning ceremony each honoree was presented with their rank advancement title incentive and were given time to address the

crowd. After the presentation of the newly ranked up distributors the excitement continued with a raffle of great prizes, including an Anespa DX, an SD501 and a Trip to Okinawa. With everyone on the edge of their seats the winning numbers appeared on the screen and one-by-one the winners came tot the stage to collect their prizes. The excitement reached a boiling point as

the winning numbers for the trip to Okinawa were revealed and Josue Andallo of Canada, a f fe c t iona t e ly k now n a s “Kangen Joe”, joyfully took to the stage to accept his prize. The excitement continued as the keynote speaker for the day two general session, Kyle Maynard, ar r ived on stage to deliver his address. H is i nspi r a t iona l speech

gave every attendee some serious things to think about and challenged them to set aside the excuses and make their life the best it could be. Following Mr. Maynard,

Tamia Williams took to the stage and echoed the overall sentiment of the convention; you can achieve success if you choose to do it! When Tamia concluded her speech Mr. Arima came on stage and addressed the crowd. After talking about his goals for Enagic, Mr. Arima brought the Enagic corporate staff and the 6A2-5 and above distributors on stage to be recognized for their valuable contributions and Mr. Arima then gave the farewell speech, thanking the attendees for being par t of the historic 45th Anniversary celebration and inviting them to attend the convention being held i n Las Vegas , Nevad a , USA o n S e p t e m b e r 5 , 2020. Af ter the second day general session had concluded, distributors were treated to one last training opportunity with a special training session with Tamia Williams.

Excited and optimistic distributors from all parts of America, and every corner of the world joined Mr. Ohshiro to rejoice in the

accomplishment of forty-five years in business and the continued success and growth of Enagic. The three day event started on Thursday, June 20, 2019 with three memorable events. The first was the Enagic Eastlake Open golf tournament at the Enagic E8PA

golf course in t he sou t he r n pa r t of San Diego County. Mr. Ohshiro and other golfers enjoyed the beautiful greens and surroundings of the challenging 18-hole golf course. Several people spoke to the attendees, including Mr. Ohshiro, and then everyone had a chance to network with their fellow distributors while enjoying a delicious brunch.

T hursday afternoon the first training session of the convention, a 6A Global Leadership Training, was hosted by top distributor Daniel

Dimacale and attended by over 500 distributors. The training was opened with a warm welcome by Enagic power couple Eli and Jillina Dafesh and also included Enagic USA compliance manager Steven Trapp, who addressed the standing room only crowd about the importance of working within the rules and regulations of the Enagic business. The company’s motherland was also represented by Enagic Japan’s President, Don Prosser, who provided the attendees with an

interesting look at the journey and evolution Enagic has undergone over the past forty-five years. Other top Enagic distributors took to the stage to discuss important information and training topics; the trainers included the host, Daniel Dimacale, Janine Jannicelli, Colten Echave, Diem La, Dang Nguyen and, Gerald Kostecka. After the training, many attendees ventured out on their own to discover the delicious eateries and fun and exciting nightlife of downtown San Diego.


M any of the convention attendees had never been to San Diego, California before. So they took advantage of being

in this beautiful city and ventured out to take in the sights. While exploring the city some distributors were fortunate enough to actually run into Mr. Ohsh i ro and g rab a pic t u re as they were checking out downtown San Diego and the surrounding areas.


T he last scheduled event on Thursday was a VIP dinner at the Omni Hotel, directly across the street from the San Diego Convention

Center. The del icious mult i-course VIP dinner included invited guests from all over the world and it was a night of fun, friendship, and flavor. The dinner star ted with an amazing singing performance by Enagic distributor Mareyah Datan. Top distributor

leaders Jillina Dafesh and Sam Sia took to the stage to speak about their incredible journeys with Enagic and were followed by Dr. Horst Filtzer, who gave a brief talk. As the night went on there were live musical performances, as well as a live band to keep the festivities going. All of the VIP’s and their guests had an enjoyable time dancing and dining the rest of the night.

Enagic is fortunate to have independent distributors with extensive experience in direct sales and the network industry. This experience has become a valuable resource, as these people have taken it upon themselves to share their knowledge with their fellow distributors. This article was created from input of many of these excellent trainers.

Most leaders in direct sales and the network industry would agree that distributor training and events are extremely important, which is probably why they are leaders! But the importance may not be for the reason most people would think, as the development of a true leader comes from more than just attending some trainings or events. Of course, training is important because new distributors need to learn about the main components of Enagic: the company, the mission, the culture of the business, the products, the policies & procedures of the company, the industry and the Enagic business.

Each of these is extremely important and should be learned by every new distributor; understanding these topics will help a distributor be more confident as they talk to others. It also allows them to provide accurate, truthful information regarding Enagic. It will also ensure that they are abiding by the rules which govern our industry and the rules of the company, making sure that they do not jeopardize the business by doing something they should not do. These are just a few of the reasons having at least a basic understanding of the overall project is extremely important, but there is something more.

Distributor trainings and events are excellent ways to keep a distributor “engaged”, which, in this case, simply means involved. This is also an excellent opportunity for leaders to be developed. The normal progression of being engaged starts with an individual, but as time passes, and the individual branches out and grows, they will start to help other distributors become engaged. This will eventually lead to that individual becoming a leader, even if they had never considered themselves a leader or meant to become one.

Engagement through training and events is a very effective way to develop not only a long-lasting and productive distributor, but also the distributor leaders of this business. Some of the most successful distributors in Enagic owe much of their success to the fact that they were so engaged that Enagic became their main priority, which led to them becoming an even stronger distributor and forced them to assume a leadership role. The more training a person receives, the more they understand the “big picture” of Enagic and the better equipped they become to help others, which is a clear and true sign of leadership. This understanding not only provides them with information, it also increases their “connection” to Enagic and it’s mission.

When a distributor first starts, the only real connection they have to Enagic is their machine. While they may be excited about the water and the Enagic business, the fact is, in the beginning, their connection with Enagic is limited, which is why training and events are so important. Every topic a new distributor hears, every new strategy they learn, every use of the water they discover, every bit of information they are taught brings them closer and closer to having a true understanding of Mr. Ohshiro’s concept of True Health. Once a person truly understands and embraces this concept, they are much more likely to become a long-term distributor and make Enagic their priority.

In order to help ensure that this happens, distributors are encouraged to seek out as much training and as many events as possible. And this is not only for new distributors; seasoned distributors are also encouraged to continue to expand their knowledge through training and to help build events and even conduct their own. Even the most experienced distributors can learn new things, which can benefit them and their teams. Just because you know something today, doesn’t mean you can’t learn something new tomorrow!

It is important to note that finding training and event opportunities may not always be easy for every distributor. If you are in an area that is still developing a distributor presence, there may not be any nearby training or events, at least not yet. If that is the case, the distributor must take the initiative to look for training and event opportunities, or even make their own! Not being trained or attending events because there is “nothing close by” is not a reason…it is an excuse. Those who make this a priority will always find a way to make it happen.

Remember, training comes in many forms and is not just when an event is being held in a hotel. Conference calls, webinars, printed information, Internet articles, videos, audio recordings and, of course, live events at places like Enagic offices, are all forms of training and ALL of these are events! There are a lot of training and event options for distributors, but sometimes they have to look for them. And sometimes there will be a cost. There may be travel expenses, lodging and even a cost for the training itself. It is up to each distributor to determine how much they are willing to invest in their own success, but be assured that if you treat the costs associated with training and events as an investment, and not just an expense, it most likely will pay off in the future.

We’ve discovered that becoming an expert in every aspect of Enagic or the direct sales industry is not necessary to become successful, however, the ongoing pursuit of training and attending events is essential if a distributor is serious about becoming a leader and enjoying a long-term, successful career with Enagic.

In Business, Freedom of Time is the Greatest

The Enagic business has created tremendous opportunity for people all over the world. For many, this opportunity has turned into success; success which has brought them the most important freedom of all…freedom of time.

“One of our distributors, Eli Dafesh, describes his experiences with Enagic as follows: I fear my words will not do this incredible man the justice that he deserves and that no matter what I might say, it would fall short of truly explaining the honor and privilege it has been to know Mr. Ohshiro. But I was asked to make this contribution, so I will do my best. My first exposure to Enagic was in 2006, at an event on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. Mr. Ohshiro was giving a presentation to a packed house, mainly of Japanese people. He gave his talk in Japanese, with an English interrupter doing his best to keep up with him. While I tried my best to listen to the English version of the information, I was captivated by the passion and conviction of the man speaking. Although I could not understand the language he was speaking, I understood every feeling he expressed. Any language barrier that may have existed at first crumbled and I quickly realized that this man, Hironari Ohshiro, and I were kindred spirits, men that shared a burning desire to succeed and to help others. I immediately knew I wanted to meet and work with this man.

When I first meet Mr. Ohshiro I had already been very successful in business. I had worked in the beauty salon industry for over 20 years and then had tried my hand in the network marketing / direct sales industry, where I became a million dollar-plus annual earner and a trainer. My experience had taught me to recognize opportunity and potential, but perhaps even more importantly, it taught me to recognize leadership. This is one area that is often lacking in traditional Network Marketing businesses. Making a lot of money and driving expensive cars and wearing flashy clothes and jewelry are not the signs of leadership. Instead, true leadership is often soft spoken and subtle; it somehow finds its way through all the hype and the

cheers. Mr. Ohshiro was the embodiment of leadership, which was one of the things that impressed me most about him. Once I got to know Mr. Ohshiro on a more personal level, he ended up being just as passionate, as driven, as committed as I had thought he was.

It is said that you can tell a lot about a man based on the way he treats his wife. If this is true, then Mr. Ohshiro would

be a thoughtful, respectful, faithful, and honorable man, which he is. They are an incredible couple, at each other’s sides almost all of the time. It has been a pleasure to get to know both of them. My wife, Jillina, and I consider Mr. & Mrs. Ohshiro as very dear friends.

My life, and the life of my family, has been impacted beyond words by working with Mr. Ohshiro.
