Anticipating the increase in those able to tap mental health services as a result of health care reform, Sound Mental Health moved into a larger and newly renovated suite A-6.

County. Services are tailored to the diverse needs of each community. Some individuals seek only short-term counseling to address emotional, life crisis or relationship problems. What does your gift mean? How does it impact people? On page one you can read

in the Voices from our Front Door how important even a simple phone can be to those looking for some help and stability. With the many services on campus, your gift is leveraged to significantly support families and individuals to get back on their feet.

Gifts help us with our own stability too, so we can help others year in and year out. Like our guests, stability allows us to dream and to do more.

Rotary Club of Redmond has supported Together Center yearly with gifts that have allowed us to develop, step by step, our Front Door Services program. Gifts too by fellow clubs in Bellevue and Issaquah are moving us forward in our vision of an entry point where people can find services, transportation or someone to provide guidance and other supports, whatever the language spoken.

Keep up with our journey on Facebook, or visit our new blog: www.togethercenter.org/blog.Consider a gift now. We are grateful for your partnership.

Sound Mental Health provides two major programs at Together

Center. Child and Family Counseling Services provides specialists in the treatment of early childhood mental health issues, childhood trauma, domestic violence, and attachment problems. Additionally, SMH offers support with behavior management and parenting.

“We believe that every family has strengths and expert knowledge about their lived experience,” noted Theresa Winther, Manager, Child and Family Counseling Services East. “Those resources have the power to heal wounds. We understand that individual change is promoted by the support of family members. We practice in a manner that facilitates the strengthening of healthy family bonds.” The other program at Together Center is Adult Services Redmond, which provides a broad range of services to clients between the ages of 20 and 60. For more information or to access services at Sound Mental Health, please contact: SMH Access Department at (206) 302-2300.

Other services on campus: NAMI Eastside in B-4 (425) 885-6265: Support groups, training and resources for those with mental illness and their families.

Youth Eastside Services in A-2 (425) 869-6036: Counseling for children, youth and families.

efficiencies and to lower barriers to finding help. We build partnerships to meet gaps in services and provide information, referral and other assistance to ensure all people can find help when they need it. child care, supports for the disabled, mental health services, and much more at our one-stop, three-building campus.
