It is our privi- lege to work and walk together with you for God’s kingdom with a specific pro-life vision. It makes me happy to inform you that the VOF– Nepal have planned to conduct 20 abortion awareness campaigns within the year of 2010 in the different churches of Kathmandu, Nepal with different creative approaches. And the VOF– Nepal also has its plan to start first Pro-life resource center in Kathmandu Nepal. So, some resource persons and expertise have shown their interest to grant a specific training to our team on the month of April 2010. VOF- Nepal breaking the silence of the churches against the sin of abortion Essentially the abortion is an un- addressed issue in the churches of Nepal. Many Nepalese churches are filled with people who’ve been in- volved with abortion . And It is a very poor and weak side of the churches to keep silent about it. In fact, it’s the emergency to address the issue in the churches and offer all the perspective, help and support they can. The church’s position is not a defensive but offensive because Jesus says “the gates of hell shall not prevail over it”. In order to influence the nation churches need to address the burning issue of the country. Emphasizing all the above matters, the Voice of Fetus Nepal had organized a pro-life rally on the 14th February (on Valentine Day), 2010. It was a first pro-life event in Nepal where more than 150 Christian brothers and sisters were involved. And on the occasion of “International Women Day” (on 8th March, 2010) VOF– Nepal conducted another awareness and signature program on the topic called “ Abortion is not safe for me” with the partnership of Chris- tian Women Society at the Shalom AG Church where more than 700 women were participated.

VOF- Nepal breaking the silence of the churches against the sin of abortion

Essentially the abortion is an un-addressed issue in the churches of Nepal. Many Nepalese churches are filled with people who’ve been in-volved with abortion . And on the occasion of “International Women Day” (on 8th March, 2010) VOF– Nepal conducted another awareness and signature program on the topic called “ Abortion is not safe for me” with the partnership of Chris-tian Women Society at the Shalom AG Church where more than 700 women were participated.

Since the program of the 8th March, many Nepalese churches have been inviting VOF– Nepal to organize the program. So, on the 15th March, 2010 VOF– Nepal presented two Pro-life DVDs called “ Wonderfully made” and “Therefore choose life” with the part-nership of the Nepal Prayer Fellow-ship at the Nepal Bible Church where more than 150 women were partici-pated. Similarly, on the kind invitation of the Methodist Church Nepal VOF– Nepal conducted an hour of pro-life class among the 50 women from different districts of Nepal. It was on the 17th March, 2010. And on the last 21st March, with the active involvement of the Kritipur Christian Church VOF– Nepal organ-ized another pro-life program at Kritipur Christian Church where more than 35 women were involved. So, now the Nepalese churches are breaking their silence and speaking against the sin of abortion.
