About the author
My works are modern, abstract and mostly geometrical archival prints that belong to computer generated fine art.
They are generated from the heart of computer, by computer programs that transform my ideas into images. I write my own programs in the tradition of so called algorithmic or software art.
My works were exhibited at a number of international print and digital art exhibitions in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia. They are in various international public collections. They are also exhibited in university classrooms and laboratories, scientific institutes, information technology companies, banks and hospitals. My art is included in several art books.
Elected member of the Croatian Association of Artists and ARTROM Gallery Guild based in Rome, Italy.
This is a new millennium, a new age, one in which Art need no longer do battle with Science. Instead of existing in opposition, a beautiful synthesis between the two can be achieved. This lesson is perhaps taught best by Vlatko Ceric, who has blended the science of mathematics with artistic expression using specially self developed software that utilizes algorithms to transform idea into image.
Through many years experimenting with images and image manipulation, Vlatko's works have reached new heights, and have been exhibited across the globe. There is a spirit in the machine, and Vlatko Ceric has freed it.
