A visit to Montage laboratories and Sehat pharmaceuticals, Himmatnagar was organized for the

students of M.Pharm. Semester-III (Pharmaceutics, Quality assurance, Pharmacology and

Pharmaceutical Analysis) on 12th July 2014.

The students accompanied by faculty members reached Montage Laboratories on 12th July 2014

at 10:30 AM. They visited various departments of manufacturing like small volume parenterals,

and dry powder injections of drugs like β-lactum and non-β-lactum antibiotics, sex hormones

and cephalosporins. Other departments like IPQC, QA-QC etc. were also visited.

The next industry visited was Sehat Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd where the industry personnel

explained the manufacturing processes in the departments preparing tablets, capsules, syrup,

suspensions and semi-solids. The two visits, co-ordinated by Dr. Pranav Shah, were very

enlightening for the students.
