If I get to prove to the visa officer that I have a job waiting for me here in the Philippines, then that could be a compelling reason for my return to my home country. Now if I get a job weeks or months from now and you want me to leave for US on October 2015, filing a leave with my new employer would NOT be possible. Since I'm still on a probationary status by that time, my employer will not allow me to take a leave, much more incur absences for a few months—might as well terminate me if I'll not be reporting for work for that long. FYI: Under Philippine Labor Code, The probationary status lasts for 6 months unless the employer wants a shorter duration. For leave purposes, nowhere in the Labor Code does it provide that employers must give their employees vacation and/or sick leaves. The only leaves mandated by our law are: Service incentive leave, solo parent leave, maternity leave and paternity leave. Before one could avail of the service incentive leave, he must be with the same company for at least 1 year. Also, the leave is only good for 5 days per year. Actually, service incentive leaves here in the Phil take the form of vacation leaves. So, if a company offers 5- day service incentive leaves to its employees, that is already considered as his vacation leave. As for family relationships, that might be questioned by the visa officer. I need to have a job first. If I get to prove to the visa officer that I have a job waiting for me here in the Philippines, then that could be a compelling reason for my return to my home country. Now if I get a job weeks or months from now and you want me to leave for US on October 2015, filing a leave with my new employer would NOT be possible. Since I'm still on a probationary status by that time, my employer will not allow me to take a leave, much more incur absences for a few monthsmight as well terminate me if I'll not be reporting for work for that long.

So, if a company offers 5-day service incentive leaves to its employees, that is already considered as his vacation leave.

As for family relationships, that might be questioned by the visa officer. I don't live with my parents. No reason to go home. Granting I live with them, I don't support them and take care of them.---they could go on with their lives even without me. Ergo, I can stay in US for long time which will render doubts on the mind of the consul.

Thus, October 2015 flight for US is not POSSIBLE.

Why almost all US tourist visas are denied? http://pinayvisa.com/the-touristvisitor-visa.html

US tourist visa applications of SINGLE, FEMALE applicants with no jobs are usually denied. Aside from the link I posted, I also visited forums catering to the same topicresult: It's highly unlikely for a single, unemployed Filipina to get a US Tourist visa.

They deny applicantions of single Filipinas because they think that your intention in visiting US is to find and marry a white guy. For the unemployed ones, I already stated a reason abovethere's no compelling reason for me to go back since I don't have a job waiting for me here in the Philippines. Another reason for denial is thatmy intention in visiting US is to find a job.
