*Street Sanding is ongoing as winter rolls along. Just watch for the guys as they’re working.

**Council held its regular meeting on Dec. 11th and we reviewed a number of different topics/ issues and you can catch up on our council minutes anytime through the village website. Our next council meeting, and the 1st of 2020 will be on Jan. 15th.

*The Theodore Volunteer Fire Dept raised $185 at the Theodore Hometown Family Christmas that was held on Dec. 15th - It wasn’t the warmest of days but the turnout was still good! It’ll be even bigger and better next year!

*The Burn Pile located out at the landfill station was finally able to be burned. The lack of snow had delayed it’s burning (The leaves/branches from the fall pickup)

We’ll be converting the arena into 3 sheets of curling ice and having a weekend Fun Spiel inviting families from all over to participate! -The process of draining the landfill site at the village dumping grounds has been halted for the winter. The provincial government has requested this be completely filled in / levelled off as quickly as possible. We will continue to fill in what we can over the winter months before spring thaw. This will be a long process and is going to take time to complete.

We face many challenges as we do each and every year but we always rise to the occasion and put our collective thoughts together to resolve any issue we face and we will continue to do so as we step into this next decade here in the Village of Theodore!
