i. After few days rainfall, unexpected landslide occurred in the power house area.

Immediate site visit was made by Geologist and Senior Hydropower Engineer and

recommended to shift the power house to the best available location (i.e. 75 m

upstream of the landslide area ) considering long term safety of Power House.

ii. Power house design as per Electromical Requirement has been received from the EM

Supplier (Flovel India). After reviewing it by the consultant considering site condition

and structural requirement, Flovelindia has revised the drawings few times. The

supplier has provided the loading diagram and structural design from TAC Hydro is

ongoing.

iii. A team comprising of Mr. K B Uprety (Client, Chairperson) , Mr. BigyanGhimire

(BOK Lumbini), Mr. Prahlad Chaudhary (Consultant, Project Coordinator) and Mr.

UjjwalPrajuli (Consultant, Mechanical Engineer ) had made a visit to pipe

manufacturer, China. Manufacturing of Spirally Welded Pipe is ongoing. Mr.

UjjwalPrajuli has been deputed in the factory to inspect and maintain the quality

control. He will be back once the manufacturing and quality check of SW pipe

completes.

iv. Bids for fabrication of gates and installation of all hydro mechanical componentshas

been received and opened. Bidder have been sort listed and shall be called for

ii. Construction of access road (About 500 m stretch) to headworks area has been

completed.

iii. Site clearance and sorting of boulder for rip rap in weir area.

iv. Foundation preparation for river training works (Gabion wall) at the left bank near

power house area has been completed and about 80 m3 gabion has been constructed.

3.2.2 Hydromechanical Works

3.2.2.1 Procurement and Transportation of Spirally Welded Pipe

SW Pipe is being manufactured in china. Mr. UjjwalParajuli (Mechanical

Engineer),consultant’s representative is at factory for quality control.

start work at headworks area and written consent was made for no further disturbance.

iii. It was planned to construct weir before this monsoon. However, due to disturbance

from local people of Headworks, excavation work at headworks has been delayed. As a

result, weir clearance and excavation work shall be carried out before this monsoon

and concreting work shall be done just after the monsoon.

iv. Excavation at power house is going on and shall be completed by the first week of

April if the underground soil condition is as expected.

v. Selection of cement and reinforcement after laboratory testing of their material

properties like compressive strength and tensile stress.

vi. Immediate Opening of LC for construction material purchase (Reinforcement and

Cement)

vii. It is recommended to select HM contractor immediately so that camp and workshop
