From the Pastor: Dear Parishioners, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Community is having a Festival on Sunday, March 5 from 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM. This Festival is the answer to our economical situation in both the parish and the school. As I have been telling you the parish desperately needs more funds to meet the operating budget and the school needs to raise money to help with the education of our students. You have in your hands the tool to fulfill the needs of our community. Please take this opportunity to meet your responsibility to our church and school. It will be easy to reach our goal if each of you will just sell these tickets and I am expecting that you will sell more. There are many opportunities to win! As you can see from the tickets, there are 5 wonderful prizes. In addition, we will have early drawings on the four Sundays prior to the Festival. Parishioners who turn in at least $200 of ticket sales by each Sunday will be entered into the drawing. The earlier you turn in your sold tickets, the more chances you have to win! You can participate in the festival by:

Selling these tickets Promoting our festival with your friends, relatives, co-workers, neighbors, etc… Posting it on your social media pages (Facebook, Whats App, You Tube) Giving ideas or asking for a booth to be run by your family or ministry or group Volunteering to help in other ways with the festival because we need everyone working together.

From the Pastor: Queridos Feligreses: La Comunidad Católica Nuestra Señora de Monte Carmelo tendrá un festival el Domingo 5 de Marzo de 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Este Festival es la respuesta a nuestra situación económica en la parroquia y la escuela. Como les he venido diciendo, la parroquia necesita más fondos económicos para completar nuestro presupuesto de operación y la escuela necesita recaudar dinero para ayudar a los estudiantes con su educación. Ustedes tienen en sus manos las herramientas para cubrir las necesidades de nuestra comunidad. Por favor tomen esta oportunidad de conocer su responsabilidad para nuestra iglesia y escuela. Será fácil alcanzar nuestro objetivo, si cada uno de ustedes vende estos boletos y espero que se vendan mas. Hay muchas oportunidades de ganar! Como pueden ver en los boletos, hay 5 premios. Además tendremos rifas los cuatro domingos previos al Festival. Los feligreses que entreguen $200 de boletos vendidos cada domingo entrarán en la rifa. Mientras más pronto vendan sus boletos, mas oportunidad tendrán de ganar! Pueden participar en el festival de la siguiente manera:

· Vendiendo boletos. · Promoviendo nuestro festival con sus amigos, familiares, compañeros de trabajo, vecinos, etc.

· Compartiendo en sus redes sociales (Facebook, Whats App, You Tube)

· Dando ideas o pidiendo un Stand para su familia, ministerio o grupo.

· Voluntariamente ayudando de cualquier otra manera con el festival, porque necesitamos a todos trabajando juntos.

With a deficit of $2,754.23 this week, we cannot operate the church. I beg you to take seriously your commitment to God through your church. Please consider increasing your offerings. You can use your envelope with a check or cash or you can just donate with your credit or debit card. You can donate online or in the parish office.

Preparing for Next Sunday

The Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time The first reading explains that those who live by God’s ways will be protected. In the second reading, Saint Paul reminds the Corinthians that God used their lowliness to demonstrate Christ’s glory. The Gospel shares the beatitudes given by Jesus in his Sermon on the Mount.
