WHAT IS VTRS ?

Primary goal of this system is to replace the current database application

developed using Microsoft Access 2000/2003 by a web-based client server

application using ASP. Net and SQL Server which will be available as an

intranet site for selected Via Travel Marine Department across Norway and

Philippines

VTRS was developed to address several user requirements on the first phaseof the project:

Travel OrderHandling

Travel Order agent assignment and tracking

Integration of System with AmadeusW

eb services and TimaticEliminate use of Outlook client

Data access/security is per office and with possibility to grant other offices access.

Implement User Levels

VTRS should be able to generate reports

System should be web-based and available for intranet operation

HOW TO LOGIN

Login is the form of identifying a user in the system, credentials needs to be entered;

Username and Password to be able to identify and challenge user authenticity

before he is allowed to use.

User who forgotten their password must inform the administrator immediately.

Do not allow anybody to use your credentials.

Password and user profiles can be changed in the system

User enter the correct email address on his profile
