present simple
5 Casos especiales
5.1 Verbo irregular "to be"
I LIVE yo vivo
you live tú vives
he/she/ it live él / ella / ello vive
we live nosotros vivimos
You live vosotros vivís
They live ellos/ellas viven
POSITIVO: I went to the cinema– Fuí al cine
NEGATIVO: She didn’t go to the concert– (Ella) No fué al concierto
INTERROGACIÓN: Did you go to that restaurant?
Vamos a ver cómo funciona:
egación
Sujeto + did not (didn’t) + Verbo (Infinitivo) + (Complemento)
SUJETO NEGACIÓN CONTRACCIÓN
COMPLEMENTO
I did not didn’t eat (no comí) pizza(pizza)
You did not didn’t eat (no comiste)
He/She/It did not didn’t eat (no comió)
We did not didn’t eat (no comimos)
You did not didn’t eat (no comisteis)
They did not didn’t eat (no comieron)
Interrogación
(Wh-word) + Auxiliar (did) + Sujeto + Verbo (Infinitivo) + (Complemento)?
When did you call me?
¿Cuándo me llamaste?
Future Simple
Ejemplos:
I will [I'll] ring (call) you tonight. (Te llamaré esta noche.)
She will [She'll] arrive late. (Llegará tarde.)
They will [They'll] be happy to see you. (Estarán felices de verte.)
Negative Sentences (Frases negativas)
Estructura Sujeto + "will" + "not" + verbo principal.
Ejemplos:
I will not [won't] ring (call) you tonight. (No te llamaré esta noche.)
She will not [won't] arrive late. (No llegará tarde.)
They will not [won't] be happy to see you. (No estarán felices de verte.)
terrogative Sentences (Frases interrogativas)
Estructura"Will" + sujeto + verbo principal.
Ejemplos:
Will you ring (call) me tonight? (¿Me llamarás esta noche?)
Will she arrive late? (¿Llegará tarde?)
Will they be happy to see you? (¿Estarán felices de verte.)
Affirmative Sentences (Frases afirmativas)
Estructura Sujeto + verbo auxiliar ("to be") + "going to" + verbo principal.
Ejemplos:
I'm going to ring (call) you tonight. (Voy a llamarte esta noche.)
She's going to arrive late. (Va a llegar tarde.)
They're going to be happy to see you. (Van a estar felices de verte.)
Negative Sentences (Frases negativas)
Estructura Sujeto + verbo auxiliar ("to be") + "not" + "going to" + verbo principal.
Ejemplos:
I'm not going to ring (call) you tonight. (No voy a llamarte esta noche.)
She's not going to arrive late. (No va a llegar tarde.)
They're not going to be happy to see you. (No van a estar felices de verte.)
