OURSERVICES

DIRECTIONAL SURVEYING SERVICESIt is our commitment to provide our customers the accuracy of the well

path to minimize the well bore effect of inclination changes.

This can cause extreme dog leg severity and also affect the true

vertical depth (plus/minus) even while drilling with steerable bottom

hole assembly. This is a major obstacle in the production of the well

bore.

A directional survey by Vaughn Energy Services Limited will produce

very reliable data that pinpoints the exact position of a borehole or well

path. Our Gyro equipment is conveyed on electric line and slickline. The

main objective of any Vaughn directional survey is to save our client's

money by determining the optimal method of drilling a quality

wellbore, in the shortest time possible, under those specific

circumstances and in that particular environment.

With Vaughn directional survey, you can always expect extreme sensor accuracy

and outstanding data quality. This means that any downhole sensor problem can

be readily identified, and often fixed in real time without interrupting your

operations.

Our surveys are able to accurately model and predict critical factors such as

torque/drag, bit hydraulics, pressure loss output and coefficients of friction. And

to develop a viable directional drilling solution for your particular project, we

consistently consider design and environmental parameters such as offset well

performance, formation type, well plan trajectory and build requirements,

desired ROP, hoisting equipment limitations, MWD/LWD working requirements,

surface equipment limitations, and hole cleaning requirements.

WIRELINE SERVICES Vaughn Energy Services performs wireline services to set flow control on various

devices within an oil or gas well, as part of a clean-out process, or to place

instruments that will measure temperature and/or pressure to get a clearer

picture of the situation within the well. This is accomplished by running a single or

multi-strand wire into the well.

The pressure control equipment used by Vaughn wireline services can withstand

the harsh extremes of pressure up to 15,000 pounds per square inch and

extremely high temperatures. It can also withstand the wide array of corrosive

substances that inhabit an oil or gas well. The pressure control equipment used

by Vaughn Energy Services comes in various sizes for various applications. Our

smallest unit can be used in a borehole as small as an inch and a half in diameter,

while our large units traverse holes as large as nine inches in diameter. Our

wireline services include but not limited to:

SUBSURFACE DATA GATHERINGAll downhole data gathering activities include (subsurface pressures and

temperatures, production logging and caliper surveys) and they have longer

impact on cash flow.

Direct measurement of subsurface pressures/temperatures is by use of

electronic gauges. We have down hole Electronic Gauges (quartz and piezo) The

survey consists of the determination of pressure/temperature gradients, static or

flowing and builds up, by taking gauge readings at intervals.

TUBING INTERGRITY CHECKTubing integrity check is used to establish that there are no leaks from the

connections of the tubing joints and also that the tools can get to its target depth

with ease.

A drift or gauge cutter run will establish that there are no hold up and tight spots

in the tubing. While pressure testing would reveal leaking joints. To pressure test

tubing, wireline plug is set in the nipple at the tubing tail and pressure applied

with a high-pressure pump.

SCSSSV CHANGE OUT:All Subsurface Safety Valves are fail safe types. They will shut in the well in the

event surface control fails or becomes damaged. The valves are either flapper or

ball valve. Periodic test is required to ascertain the integrity of the valve in hole.

Valves that fail the test are pulled out and replaced with redressed ones from the

workshop.

We have Otis DK Ball valves and Camco Flapper valves.

WAX CUTTING SERVICES:Clearing of wax (paraffin or asphaltenes) from tubing is also an activity with

immediate impact on cash flow. Wax may be defined as organic deposit that

resists the flow/ production of crude oil. They are constituent of most crude oil.

The most common method of removing wax from tubing is by mechanical means

(scraper and cutter) or we also use hot oil services.

GASLIFT VALVE SERVICES:Gaslift is basically a system whereby relatively high-pressure gas is injected into

the tubing through the annulus to decrease the pressure gradient of the fluid

column and back pressure on the formation. The communication between the

tubing and annulus is through the Gaslift valves. We calibrate the live Gaslift

valves, remove the dummies and install the live Gaslift at intervals.

SWABBING:Swabbing is a form of “well control” that releases bottom hole pressure in order

to “kick” the well off. It is a process to remove liquids from the production zone of

a gas or oil well. Throughout the life of a well, liquids flow back with the natural

gas or oil as a well ages. If bottom-hole pressures are not enough to push the

liquids out of the well, production then falls off. The well must then be swabbed or

hydrostatic pressure must be reduced to maintain production.

At Vaughn Energy Services Limited, our Well Testing technique is carried out in

order to assess the true and full potential of the reservoir under dynamic

conditions.

We have a wide variety of well testing packages available for exploration and

appraisal operations through development and production campaigns, Vaughn

has the technology and the expertise to acquire accurate and reliable data,

knowing fully well that inaccurate data can lead to early depletion.

Under his supervision Vaughn Energy has successfully completed over 200 oil and gas jobs spanning across Well Intervention, Slickline, Gyroscopic Survey, Directional Drilling, LWD & MWD, Well Testing and Mudlogging. Prior to starting Vaughn Energy Nigeria, he held various strategic positions in different blue chip organisations including Expro Group Nigeria, VIGEO Limited. A strong advocate of continuous learning, Babatunde is an ardent reader of a range of books covering leadership, motivation, relationship building, crime, autobiographies, and Christian literature. He is also a presenter and speaker at international conferences with specific interests in Strategic Alliances, Nigerian Content, and Entrepreneurship. Babatunde is a keen saxophonist, and an avid animal lover, with interests in exotic breeds of dogs, parrots, horses and wild life. OLUSEYI A. ESEZOBOR – DIRECTOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTOluseyi A. Esezobor earned a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan and a master's degree in Oil & Gas Engineering from The Robert Gordon University in Scotland. He has had a few stints of work experience as a practicing Petroleum Engineer earlier on in his career, later focusing on the Business Development, Project Management and the Commercial side of the business, thereby establishing himself as a consummate Business Development Engineer & Project Management Consultant, roles that comes naturally to him. Seyi has worked with a few companies both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, some of which include Index Brook, Amazon Energy, Bell Oil & Gas, GE Oil & Gas, Babcock International, BAE Systems, HM Royal Navy, ISG and a host of various international companies.

As the Business Development Director of Vaughn Energy Services Ltd., Seyi has been involved in the growth of the company from its humble beginnings into a full-fledged Integrated Energy Services provider with interests in the Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas industry. He has vast knowledge of Directional Surveying (MWD/LWD & Gyro) with trainings in Nigeria and abroad. He has led and successfully completed so many projects on a wide variety of Rig-type(land, swamp, and deep offshore).

Omozuhiomwen Egbe Gregory is the General Manager Drilling and Measurement Vaughn Energy Services Limited, before now he served in different capacity in various organization such a Field Engineer in Kasolute Nigeria Limited, Field Sevice Engineer in Vigeo Limited, Field Service Manger Vaughn Energy Service Limited, Acting General Manager Operations (west) Vaughn Energy Services Limited.
