UNCOMMON SENSEThe Sheen Center Presents the Tectonic Theater Project Production of

UNCOMMON SENSEBy Anushka Paris-Carter and Andy ParisDirected by Andy Paris

25 OCTOBER – 26 NOVEMBER LORETO THEATER

The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture is proud to present the New York premiere of Tectonic Theater Project’s production of Uncommon Sense, a new play about autism and the spectrum of love. Written by Anushka Paris-Carter and Andy Paris, Uncommon Sense is directed by Andy Paris under the artistic direction of Tectonic’s founder, Moisés Kaufman.

Inspired by true stories of people living on the autism spectrum, this is a new play that delves into the mysteries of the brain. This multimedia play weaves together the four personal journeys of Dan, Jess, Moose, and Lali — and their families and friends — as it reveals our universal challenges with “difference,” our desire to connect, and the lengths we will go to for the people we love. Uncommon Sense embraces all audiences, from those finally seeing their experiences reflected on the stage, to those peering into the autism world for the very first time.

There will be special “relaxed” performances of the show for the autism community, talkbacks after most Saturday matinees, and a special panel before the November 5 matinee (see Talks).Tickets: $89 / $69 Previews / $30 Students with valid ID Moisés Kaufman
