After much talks and rumours, the King Khan and Kajol will be seen onscreen in the much awaited movie of the year, Dilwale. When the trailer was released, there was a mixed reaction from the audience. “The chemistry between the lead actors was applauded. This week, the makers of Dilwale released the first song of the movie, titled – Gerua. The look and feel of the song seems heavily inspired from the leading duo’s superhit song - Sooraj Hua Maddham from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Add to it the sensational scenic locations that remind us of Yash Chopra’s directorial days.

“Gerua feels nostalgic,” adds Vaikundarajan. “It is probably director’s tribute to the old school romance that makes us want to see more of it.”

“It is evident from the trailer that SRK and Kajol do not share a cordial relation in the movie. This would be interesting as we are accustomed to seeing the duo fall in love in all of their movies,” says Vaikundarajan.

5 years after My Name is Khan and 20 years after DDLJ, this reunion has been long awaited. The song is composed by Pritam with Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra lending the voice.

The movie also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Boman Irani and Johnny Lever and is scheduled to release on December 18.
