VACANCY NOTICE

Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma for filling up two posts of

Research Officer (Yoga & Naturopathy) in PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100

GP- Rs. 5400 (as per VIth CPC) on direct recruitment basis in the Central

Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy, an autonomous body under

Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. The eligible and interested candidates

should submit their applications to Director, CCRYN within 45 days from the

date of issue of the advertisement. The candidates working in Central/State

Govt. autonomous bodies/Universities etc. must submit their applications

through proper channel. The details regarding the eligibility criteria and

prescribed proforma of the application form is enclosed at Annexure – ‘A’ &

‘B’ respectively.

Applications are invited from eligible candidate for filling up two posts of Research Officer

(Y&N) on Direct Recruitment basis.

1. Name of the Post : RESEARCH OFFICER (Y&N)

2. No of vacancies : Two Regular Posts (General)

3. Classification : Group ‘A’

4. Scale of Pay : PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100+Rs. 5400 GP

5. Age limit for Direct Recruitment : Maximum 40 years. (Relaxable to

various categories as per Govt. of India

instructions)

Note: The crucial date of determining the age

limit shall be the closing date for receipt of

applications from candidates in India (and

not for the candidates residing in Assam,

Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram,

Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu

& Kashmir, Lahul & Spiti Districts and Pangi

7. Educational & Other Qualifications : Essential: 1. Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic

Sciences (BNYS) Degree awarded by

Govt. Board/recognized university

OR

Diploma in Naturopathy of minimum 04

years’ duration.

2. 08 years professional experience in

reputed organization.

3. Class ‘A’ registration in

Yoga/Naturopathy from Statutory State

Board.

4. Proficiency in English/Hindi.

5. Aptitude of Research Activities.

Desirable:

1. Published Research work in the form of

standard Research papers in the field of

Yoga/Naturopathy.

2. Practical ability to perform Yoga practices.

General Conditions:

1. The prescribed proforma for the post may be downloaded from the website of the

Council ww.ccryn.org (location: vacancy notice)

2. Attested photocopies of the relevant certificates of educational qualification, experience

and category certificate in respect of candidates of reserved category should be attached

with the application form alongwith two recent passport size photographs and forward

the same to The Director, CCRYN at the above mentioned address which should reach

within the last date.

3. Application should be accompanied with a Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (drawn on any

scheduled Bank) in favour of The Director, CCRYN. One self-addressed envelope

affixing postal stamp worth Rs. 25/- should accompany the duly filled application form

separately. The incomplete application form and application received after the closing

date will be summarily rejected.

4. New Pension Scheme of the Council will be applicable.

5. Personnel working in Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies should submit their application

through proper channel. However, an advance copy of the same may be sent to the

Council.

6. Mere submission of application form and fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not confer

right to any person for test/interview. The Director, Central Council for Research in

Yoga & Naturopathy reserves the right not to fill up the post without assigning any

reason thereof.

7. The age relaxation is also applicable to other categories of persons in accordance with

the orders issued by the Govt. of India from time to time.

8. The candidates selected for appointment against the posts mentioned above are liable to

serve anywhere in India.

9. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview at Delhi.
