Just received my new green mountain mini uzi short-barrel-rifle barrel. this thing is gorgeous and the quality and workmanship is absolutely top notch!!! i have a slight problem though....

the trunion restriction ring around the middle of the barrel seems to get caught up on the trunion itself. I thought that turning down a normal SMG barrel at the end was all you needed to do to get the smg barrels to fit in a semi mini? although when i look at the barrel that came with my gun from vector, it doesnt have a trunion restriction ring, just a tiny bit of a step up that continues all the way to the back.
