Mobile Workforce and Asset Management Software for Downtown Associations This workshop, delivered at the International Downtown Association 60th Annual Conference and Tradeshow, addressed common issues among Downtown Organizations, BIAs, and BIDs with respect to managing street operations and city assets. GeoPal_Asset_Map_ScreenshotWith shared experience from Times Square Alliance, Arts District Los Angeles, and Toronto Financial District (FDBIA) we will explore how to cost-effectively increase productivity of your street teams and 3rd party contractors. We will also learn how real-time management of the condition of city assets is critical for maintaining the well-being of your downtown areas. Our contributors represent downtown organzations that are both new and experienced, demonstrating how mobile technology can transform the quality of safety, maintenance, and promotion services for downtown areas. The workshop showcased the IDA Merit Award-winning GeoPal software solution, which has been configured to match the requirements of Downtown Organizations, BIAs and BIDs.
