Select the options you want and click OK.

Option name Description

Apply Structure and Style Allows you to select options under Structure and Page Options.

Apply Only the Style Allows you to select options under Page Options only.

Replace Variables Automatically Allows you to automatically compare the template variables with the variables used in the report. Variables that have the same name, are of the same type, or of the same qualification, are automatically replaced by the report variables, while maintaining the formatting attributes defined by the template. If Replace Variables is not selected you must define them by clicking Define, which opens the Replace Variables dialog box.

Select the options you want and click OK.

Delete Undefined Template Variables Automatically deletes the variables that are defined in the template only, and not in the report.

Delete Calculated Report Variables Deletes all the variables in the report that represent calculated data.

Search Template Variables in the Document

If the template contains a variable that is not used in the current report, this option has Business Objects search all the variables contained in the document to find the template variables.

Keep Template Alerters Continues to display the alerters that are defined in the current report.

Apply Template Background Applies the template background to the report.

Apply Template Header and Footer Applies the template header and footer styles to the report
