JIST Mission
• To provide HQ USEUCOM staff a baseline of joint knowledge and staff training upon arrival
• To assimilate staff, making them efficient and productive team members as quickly as possible
• To enhance and sustain joint individual and staff training readiness
“One of the primary reasons this study was initiated was that the Combatant Commands are concerned that staff officers are arriving for duty without the skill sets and some of the more focused joint training and education needed to perform basic staffing tasks.”
