Some materials that are chemical-resistant to this product are made of any waterproofmaterial. If you want more options, follow the instructions for Category A on an EPAchemical resistance category selection chart.

Mixers, Loaders, Applicators and all other Handlers must wear:• long-sleeved shirt and long pants• chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material• shoes plus socks

User Safety Requirements

Discard clothing and other absorbent materials that have been drenched or heavilycontaminated with this product's concentrate. DO NOT reuse them. Followmanufacturer's instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions forwashables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately fromother laundry.

Engineering Controls

When handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or aircraft in a manner that meets therequirements listed in the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides[40 CFR 170.240 (d) (4-6)], the handler PPE requirements may be reduced or modified asspecified in the WPS.

User Safety RecommendationsUsers should:

• Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using thetoilet.

• Remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of glovesbefore removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into cleanclothing.

Environmental Hazards

This product is toxic to aquatic invertebrates and wildlife. Do not apply directly to water, toareas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high watermark. Groundwater Advisory

Chlorothalonil is known to leach through soil into groundwater under certain conditions asa result of label use. This chemical may leach into groundwater if used in areas wheresoils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow.

Surface Water Advisory

This chemical can contaminate surface water through spray drift. Under some conditions,it may also have a high potential for runoff into surface water for several days to weeksafter application. These include poorly draining or wet soils with readily visible slopestoward adjacent surface waters, frequently flooded areas, areas overlaying extremelyshallow groundwater, areas with infield canals or ditches that drain to surface water,areas not separated from adjacent surface waters with vegetated filter strips, and areasover-laying tile drainage systems that drain to surface water.

A Broad Spectrum Agricultural Fungicide

Read entire label carefully and use only as directed.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Bravo 500 should be used only in accordance with recommendations on this label or inseparately published GB Biosciences supplemental labeling recommendations for thisproduct.

DO NOT apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, or petseither directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area duringapplication. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agencyresponsible for pesticide regulation.

AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTSUse this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker ProtectionStandard, 40 CFR part 170. This Standard contains requirements for the protection ofagricultural Workers on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses, and handlers ofagricultural pesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination,notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructions andexceptions pertaining to the statements on this label about personal protective equipment(PPE) and restricted-entry interval. The requirements in this box only apply to uses of thisproduct that are covered by the Worker Protection Standard.

Do not enter or allow workers to enter treated areas during the restricted-entryinterval (REI) of 12 hours.

PPE required for early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the WorkerProtection Standard and that involves contact with anything that has been treated, suchas plants, soil, or water, is:

• coveralls• chemical resistant gloves made of any waterproof material• shoes plus socks• protective eyewear

Special Eye Irritation Provisions: This product is a severe eye irritant. Although therestricted-entry interval expires after 12 hours, for the next 6.5 days entry is permittedonly when the following safety measures are provided:(1) At least one container designed specifically for flushing eyes must be available in

operating condition at the WPS-required decontamination site intended for workersentering the treated area.

(2) Workers must be informed, in a manner they can understand:• that residues in the treated area may be highly irritating to their eyes• that they should take precautions, such as refraining from rubbing their eyes, to

keep the residues out of their eyesthat if they do get residues in their eyes, they should immediately flush their eyesusing the eyeflush container that is located at the decontamination site or usingother readily available clean waterhow to operate the eyeflush container.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Bravo 500 can be used effectively in dilute or concentrate sprays. Thorough, uniformcoverage is essential for disease control.

Resistance Management Recommendations

Bravo 500 is an excellent fungicide when used according to label directions for control ofa broad spectrum of plant diseases. Bravo 500 is recommended for use in programswhich are compatible with the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM), whichinclude the use of disease resistant crop varieties, cultural practices, pest scouting anddisease forecasting systems which reduce unnecessary applications of pesticides.

Bravo 500 is effective for strategic use in programs that attempt to minimize diseaseresistance to fungicides. Some other fungicides which are at risk of disease resistanceexhibit a single-site mode of fungicidal action. Bravo 500, with a multi-site mode of action,may be used to delay or prevent the development of resistance to single-site fungicides.Consult with your federal or state Cooperative Extension Service representatives forguidance on the proper use of Bravo 500 in programs which seek to minimize theoccurrence of disease resistance to, other fungicides.

USE PRECAUTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS

DO NOT use on greenhouse-grown crops.

DO NOT combine Bravo 500 with Dipel®, Latron B-1956® or Latron AG-98® asphytotoxicity may result from the combination when applied to the crops on this label.

This product must not be applied within 150 feet (for aerial and airblast applications) or 25feet (for ground applications) of marine/estuarine water bodies unless there is anuntreated buffer area of that width between the area to be treated and the water body.

Spray Drift Precautions

Avoiding spray drift at the application site is the responsibility of the applicator. Theinteraction of many equipment and weather related factors determine the potential forspray drift. The applicator and the grower are responsible for considering all these factorswhen making decisions.

The following drift management requirements must be followed to avoid off target driftmovement from aerial applications to agricultural field crops. These requirements do notapply to conifer applications, public health uses or applications using dry formulations.

1. The distance of the outer most nozzles on the boom must not exceed % the lengthof the wingspan or rotor.

2. Nozzles must always point backward parallel with the air stream and never bepointed downwards more than 45 degrees.

Where states have more stringent regulations, they should be observed.

The applicator should be familiar with and take into account the information covered in theAerial Drift Reduction Advisory Information.

Aerial Drift Reduction Advisory Information[This section is advisory in nature and does not supersede the mandatory labelrequirements.]

Information on Droplet SizeThe most effective way to reduce drift potential is to apply large droplets. The best driftmanagement strategy is to apply the largest droplets that provide sufficient coverage andcontrol. Applying larger droplets reduces drift potential, but will not prevent drift ifapplications are made improperly, or under unfavorable conditions (See Wind,Temperature).

Controlling Droplet Size• Volume - Use high flow rate nozzles to apply the highest practical spray volume.

Nozzles with higher rated flows produce larger droplets.• Pressure - Do not exceed the nozzle manufacturer's recommended pressures. For

many nozzle types, lower pressure produces larger droplets. When higher flow ratesare needed, use higher flow rate nozzles instead of increasing pressure.

• Number of Nozzles - Use the minimum number of nozzles that provide uniformcoverage.

• Nozzle Orientation - Orienting the nozzles so that the spray is released parallel tothe airstream produces larger droplets than other orientations and is therecommended practice. Significant deflection from horizontal will reduce droplet sizeand increase drift potential.

• Nozzle Type - Use a nozzle type that is designed for the intended application. Withmost nozzle types, narrower spray angles produce larger droplets. Consider usinglow-drift nozzles. Solid stream nozzles oriented straight back produce the largestdroplets and the lowest drift potential.

Boom LengthFor some use patterns, reducing the effective boom length to less than % of the wingspanor rotor length may further reduce drift without reducing swath width.

Application HeightApplications should not be made at a height greater than 10 ft above the top of the largestplants, unless a greater height is required for aircraft safety. Making applications at thelowest height that is safe reduces exposure of droplets to evaporation and wind.

Swath AdjustmentWhen applications are made with a crosswind, the swath will be displaced downwind.Therefore, on the upwind and downwind edges of the field, the applicator mustcompensate for this displacement by adjusting the path of the aircraft upwind. Swathadjustment distance should increase with increasing drift potential (higher wind, smallerdrops, etc.).

WindDrift potential is lowest between wind speeds of 2-10 mph. However, many factors,including droplet size and equipment type, determine drift potential at any given speed.Application should be avoided below 2 mph due to variable wind direction and highinversion potential. NOTE: Local terrain can influence wind patterns. Every applicatorshould be familiar with local wind patterns and how they affect spray drift.

Temperature and HumidityWhen making applications in low relative humidity, set up equipment to produce largerdroplets to compensate for evaporation. Droplet evaporation is most severe whenconditions are both hot and dry.

Temperature InversionsApplications should not occur during a temperature inversion because drift potential ishigh. Temperature inversions restrict vertical air mixing, which causes small suspendeddroplets to remain in a concentrated cloud. This cloud can move in unpredictabledirections due to the light variable winds common during inversions. Temperatureinversions are characterized by increasing temperatures with altitude and are common onnights with limited cloud cover and light to no wind. They begin to form as the sun setsand often continue into the morning. Their presence can be indicated by ground fog;however, if fog is not present, inversions can also be identified by the movement of smokefrom a ground source or an aircraft smoke generator. Smoke that layers and moveslaterally in a concentrated cloud (under low wind conditions) indicates an inversion, whilesmoke that moves upward and rapidly dissipates indicates good vertical air mixing.

Sensitive AreasThe pesticide'should only be applied when the potential for drift to adjacent sensitiveareas (e.g., residential areas, bodies of water, known habitat for threatened orendangered species, non-target crops) is minimal (e.g., when wind is blowing away fromthe sensitive areas).

APPLICATION

Note: Slowly invert container several times to assure uniform mixture.

Dosage rates on this label indicate pints of Bravo 500 per acre, unless otherwise stated.Under conditions favoring disease development the high rate specified and shortestapplication interval should be used.

The required amount of Bravo 500 should be added slowly into the spray tank duringfilling. With concentrate sprays, pre-mix the required amount of Bravo 500 in a cleancontainer and add to the spray tank as it is being filled. Keep agitator running when fillingspray tank and during spray operations.

Field and Row Crops:

Apply Bravo 500 in sufficient water to obtain adequate coverage of foliage. Gallonage tobe used will vary with crop and amount of plant growth. Spray volume usually will rangefrom 20 to 150 gallons per acre (200 to 1400 liters per hectare) for dilute sprays and 5 to10 gallons per acre (50 to 100 liters per hectare) for concentrate ground sprays andaircraft applications. Both ground and aircraft methods of application are recommendedunless specific directions are given for a crop. Application through sprinkler irrigationsystems is not recommended unless specific directions are given for a crop. Seeapplication and calibration instruction below.

Application and Calibration Techniques for Sprinkler Irrigation - Chemigation

Apply this product only through center pivot, motorized lateral move, traveling gun, solidset and portable (wheel move, side roll, end tow, or hand move) irrigation system(s). DONOT apply this product through any other type of irrigation system.

Crop injury, lack of effectiveness, or illegal pesticide residues in the crop can result fromnon-uniform distribution of treated water.

If you have questions about calibration, you should contact State Extension Servicespecialists, equipment manufacturers or other experts.

DO NOT apply this product through irrigation systems connected to a public watersystem. 'Public water system' means a system for the provision to the public of pipedwater for human consumption if such system has at least 15 service connections orregularly serves an average of at least 25 individuals daily at least 60 days per year.

Controls for both irrigation water and pesticide injection systems must be functionallyinterlocked, so as to automatically terminate pesticide injection when the irrigation waterpump motor stops. A person knowledgeable of the irrigation system and responsible forits operation shall be present so as to discontinue pesticide injection and make necessaryadjustments, should the need arise.

The irrigation water pipeline must be fitted with a functional, automatic, quick-closingcheck valve to prevent the flow of treated irrigation water back toward the water source.The pipeline must also be fitted with a vacuum relief valve and low pressure drain, locatedbetween the irrigation water pump and the check valve, to prevent back-siphoning oftreated irrigation water into the water source.

Always inject Bravo 500 into irrigation water after it discharges from the irrigationpump and after it passes through the check valve. Never inject pesticides into theintake line on the suction side of the pump.

Pesticide injection equipment must be fitted with a functional, normally closed,solenoid-operated valve located on the intake side of the injection pump. Interlock thisvalve to the power system, so as to prevent fluid from being withdrawn from the chemicalsupp[y tank when the irrigation system is either automatically or manually turned off.

The pesticide injection pipeline must contain a functional, automatic, quick-closing checkvalve to prevent the flow of fluid back toward the injection pump.

The irrigation line or water pump must include a functional pressure switch which will stopthe water pump motor when the water pressure decreases to the point where pesticidedistribution is adversely affected.

Spray mixture in the chemical supply tank must be agitated at all times, otherwise settlingand uneven application may occur. DO NOT apply when wind speed favors drift beyondthe area intended for treatment.

Systems must use a metering pump, such as a positive displacement injection pump(e.g., diaphragm pump), effectively designed and constructed of materials that arecompatible with pesticides and capable of being fitted with a system interlock.

Bravo 500 may be used through two basic types of sprinkler irrigation systems as outlinedin Sections A and B below. Determine which type of system is in place, then refer to theappropriate directions provided for each type.

A. Center Pivot, Motorized Lateral Move and Traveling Gun IrrigationEquipment

For injection of pesticides, these continuously moving systems must use a positivedisplacement injection pump, of either diaphragm or piston type, constructed of

materials that are compatible with pesticides and capable of being fitted with asystem interlock and capable of injection at pressures approximately 2-3 timesthose encountered within the irrigation water line. Venturi applicator units cannotbe used on these systems.

Fill chemical supply tank of injection equipment with water. Operate system forone complete revolution or run across the field, measuring time required, amountof water injected, and acreage covered. Thoroughly mix recommended amount ofBravo 500 for acreage to be covered into same amount of water used duringcalibration and inject into system continuously for one revolution or run. Mixture inthe chemical supply tank must be continuously agitated during the injection run. v

Shut off injection equipment after one revolution or run, but continue to operateirrigation system until Bravo 500 has been cleared from last sprinkler head.

B. Solid Set and Portable (Wheel Move, Side Roll, End Tow, or Hand Move)Irrigation Equipment

With stationary systems, an effectively designed in-line venturi applicator unit ispreferred which is constructed of materials that are compatible with pesticides;however, a positive-displacement pump can also be used.

Determine acreage covered by sprinkler. Fill tank of injection equipment withwater and adjust flow to use contents over a thirty to forty-five minute period. Mixdesired amount of Bravo 500 for acreage to be covered with water so that the totalmixture of Bravo 500 plus water in the injection tank is equal to the quantity ofwater used during calibration and operate entire system at normal pressuresrecommended by the manufacturer of injection equipment used for amount of timeestablished during calibration. No agitation should be required. Bravo 500 can beinjected at the beginning or end of the Irrigation cycle or as a separate application.Stop injection equipment after treatment is completed and continue to operateirrigation system until Bravo 500 has been cleared from last sprinkler head.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS

For best control of both diseases apply at leaf fallin late autumn, using sufficient water and propersprayer calibration to obtain uniform coverage.When conditions favor high disease levels use the thigh rate of application and apply once or twicemore in mid to late winter before budswell. If theleaf fall application is not practical, application ofBravo 500 for control of leaf curl may be made atany time prior to budswell the following spring.Where Coryneum blight (shothole) occurs, alsoapply at budbreak to protect newly emergingleaves and at shuck split to prevent fruit infections.

Make one application at popcorn (pink, red orearly white bud) and a second application at fullbloom. If weather conditions favor diseasedevelopment, make an additional application atpetal fall.

In addition to the bloom application listed above,make one application at shuck split. DO NOTapply Bravo-500 after shuck split and -beforeharvest. If additional disease control is neededbefore harvest, use another registered fungicide.

For control of cherry leaf spot after harvest, makeone application to foliage within 7 days after fruit isremoved. In orchards with a history of high leaf.spot incidence, make a second application 10 to14 days later.

Apply in early spring prior to budbreak. Repeatapplications at approximately 6- to 8-weekintervals, until spore release ceases in late fall.Apply monthly during periods of frequent rainfall,and where Lophodermium infections occur duringdormancy (Pacific Northwest). MUSHROOMS: Verticillium brown spot and dry bubble - Apply 4 to 8 fI oz of Bravo 500per 1,000 sq ft of mushroom bed. Apply as a drench to the mushroom bed surface in atleast 12.5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft of mushroom bed. Make two applications.Apply the high rate (8 fl oz) of Bravo 500 in the first application and the low rate (4 fl oz) ofBravo 500 in the second application. The first application should be made within two daysof top-dressing the spawn-colonized mushroom compost with a casing layer. The secondapplication should be made at pinning. DO NOT apply within five days of first harvest.Make no more than two applications per cropping cycle. DO NOT apply more than 12 floz of Bravo 500 per cropping cycle.

Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remainingcontents into application equipment or mix tank and drain for 10 seconds after the flowbegins to drip. Fill the container % full with water and recap. Shake for 10 seconds. Pourrinsate into application equipment or mix tank or store rinsate for later use and disposal.Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat this procedure two more times.Then offer for recycling if available or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or byincineration, or by other procedures approved by state and local authorities.

To clean container before final disposal, empty the remaining contentsfrom this container into application equipment or mix tank. Fill the container about 10percent full with water. Agitate vigorously or recirculate water with the pump for 2minutes. Pour or pump rinsate into application equipment or rinsate collection system.Repeat this rinsing procedure two more times. Then offer for recycling if available orpuncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by incineration, or by other proceduresapproved by state and local authorities.
