FOA USE ON TOMATOES AND PEPPERS: OEVAINOL 2-E or SO-OF can be applied and mixed (incorporated) Into the soil before planting for weed control on seeded or transplanted tomAtoeS or peppers, or it can be applied as a surface application before laying plastic mulch.

OEVAINOL 2-E and SO-OF control weeds by interfering with normal seed germination and seediing development. It does not control established weeds. AU weed growth and crop stubble should be thoroughly worked Into the soil before treatment. Aef6r to the OEVAINOL 2-E or OEVAINOL SO-OF federal labels for list of weeds controlled.

The soil should be well-worked and dry enough to permit good soil mixing (incorporation). POl:r the recommer . ~d amounts of OEVAINOL into a spray tank during the filling operations. When mixing OEVAINlJL 50 OF make a slurry and add to a nearly filled spray tank with adequate agitation. Apply in 20 to 100 gallons of water per acre. For OEV:1INOL 50-OF, sufficient jet or mechanical agitation should be provided during the filling operation and during application.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS

The soil should be well-worked and dry enough to perllit good soil lIixing (incorporation). Pour the recoaaended aaounts of DEVRINOL and TILLAM 6-E into a .pray tank during the filling operations. Apply in 25 to 50 gallons of water per acre.

For soil incorporated applications, use a properly calibrated, low-prellure, boo.-type .prayer having good agitation.
