Payee & E-Biller SetupA payee is any person or company to which youmake payments, such as your utility providers or your credit card companies. Some payees send youebills—electronic billing statements that save youeven more time.

What you need:• A bill or statement for each payee, showing your

account number and their address and phone number.

Enter in payee name, account number, address and phone number as it appears on your billing statement.

You will then be asked to confirm your payeesetup by re-entering your account numberand clicking “Add Payee.”

If the payee you added can deliver bills elec-tronically, you will be asked if you would liketo receive electronic bills (e-bills) from thispayee. Click “Yes” and follow additional steps.(For more information on requesting e-bills, see next page).

Requesting E-bills Some large companies can send electronic “e-bills” directly to your U.S. Bank Internet Bill Pay account. Youget the same information as on your paper bill, and youcan even store e-bills up to six months for easy online reference.

There are two ways to activate an e-bill—you can choose toreceive e-bills during the initial payee set up (see page 7) oryou can also set up an e-bill later.

Decide to receive e-bills after you’ve set up your payees?Click the “Payee & E-Biller Setup” tab and look at yourpayee list—click “Sign Up” to convert a payee to an e-biller.

Check this box and your e-bills will come to you, delivered directly to your e-mail inbox. Be sure to enter in your updated e-mail address.

Click here, and U.S. Bank Internet Bill Pay willautomatically pay this e-bill for you every month.You can even set a maximum dollar amount limit.

Just like getting a paper bill in your mailbox, when you login to U.S. Bank Internet Bill Pay, you will be notified that you have a new e-bill. Or, if you have selected the option to receive e-bills via e-mail, you will receive an e-mail notification once the e-bill is ready for viewing.

Scheduling Repeating PaymentsUse this feature to pay regularly occurring bills for a set amount—your mortgage, tuition, or loan payments. Select a payee and fill in the amount, first payment date, frequency, and number of payments or indicate to pay until further notice. You can also specify a differentamount for the final payment. (See “Scheduling a Payment” for important notes on scheduling payment dates).
