University Environmental Policy
Aims to reduce the negative environmental impact of our activities.......• Reduce energy consumption• Procure environmentally
preferable products• Reduce waste
The Environmental Impact of Printing
Our 2008 report found that .....• 40 million sheets of paper were sold
through stores , but only 34% was recycled paper
• 5.7% of A4 paper used by the Print Service was recycled paper
• Over 1,300 tonnes were sold through stores
• 448.77 t of co2 per year from imaging alone
