Total work experience (9 years):
Currently, I’m working at Medusind Solutions, Ahmedabad (from September 2016) as an Assistant
Manager – Client Services, into Master Data Management and Contract Management for a Global
Healthcare industry player.
Previous work experience:
1. Worked with Genpact, Gurgaon, Haryana (from March 2013 until August 2016) in the eSourcing &
Contracting domain for a global client in the Oil & Energy sector, for the below-mentioned activities for
my region as well as assist a few other regions:
Position: Assistant Manager - Operations (Ariba eSourcing & Contracting)
● Creating, controlling, and monitoring eRFX events on Ariba.
● Spend data management / analysis.
● Customer / Client coordination and interaction (overseas as well as domestic clients)
● eSourcing strategies & category management.
● Contract management (creation of contractual documents – amendments, change orders, work
releases, drafting MSAs / Standalone Agreements, contract assessments and fitness activities,
DocuSign, termination letters, awardal letters, contract workspace management on Ariba as
well as SAP, etc.)
● Vendor management (pre-qualification, due diligence, HSSE, ACDD, new vendor sourcing, etc.)
● Marketing / business development support.

2. Worked with Consus Consulting Group (from Sept. 2012 until Jan. 17, 2013).
Position: Consultant – Strategic eSourcing.
● Worked onsite with a client in Mumbai, as a Consultant for eSourcing & Spend Management
activities.
● Sourcing strategizing::Guided the client on e-sourcing strategies based on different situations;
eRFX management [i.e. creation & development of events (eRFP, eRFQ, eRFI) in Ariba, creating
e-Auctions (Reverse, Forward, English, Dutch) and various other types of auctions, monitor and
control these events], analyse their spend, category management, consult them on which areas
/ categories they can go for eRFP, eRFQ, eRFI, and eAuctions, so as to optimise their savings.
● Performed in-depth analysis of proposals received from the bidders, draw conclusions, prepare
comprehensive summaries, and present back to the client in a concise manner, report
generation.
● Vendor management by new vendor sourcing and training them as well as training the existing
vendors for Ariba application, on how to bid in the system, how to overcome the difficulties
(technical/non-technical) they may face for ebidding, etc.
● Helped my client / buyer, and various other departments at my client's place use Ariba
independently and with ease.
Thus,
● I provided esourcing services (RFP, RFI, RFQ) to the client based on the pre-defined service
levels.
● Lead and executed Ariba esourcing process from start to finish, e.g., eRFx development, reverse
auctions, data analysis, etc.
● Provided support based on my strong understanding of the reverse auction methodology and
concepts that apply to various sourcing scenarios: Lots & items, Pricing, Supplier
Communications, stakeholder change management.
● Identified the areas of process inefficiencies and suggested improvements to management,
including development of templates and job aids to improve efficiency and effectiveness of
Ariba.
● Coaching, transferring knowledge, and developing buyer team members regularly to be more

3. I worked with my family business in Ahmedabad (from Nov. 2010 until Sept. 2012) and looked for a
job opportunity in the e-Procurement / e-Sourcing domain simultaneously.

4. e-Procurement Technologies Limited, Ahmedabad (Sept. 2010 to Oct. 2010; on contractual
basis)
Position: Deputy Manager – e-Procurement in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Worked onsite (in Dhaka, Bangladesh) with e-Procurement Technologies Limited, Ahmedabad as a
Deputy Manager – e-Procurement (e-tendering, e-auctioning, Reverse Auctions, etc.), for application
development, testing, deployment, implementation, & maintenance project. This company is into e-
tendering & e-auctioning, Reverse Auctions, e-RFX, etc. services based on SaaS.
I worked on the e-Procurement application level during this tenure.
In addition to my activities which I carried out in this company during my previous tenure, I also
prepared web screen designing document & System Requirements document, did project coordination,
and client co-ordination.

5. I joined my family business in Ahmedabad (from June 2009 until Sept. 2010) and looked for a job
opportunity in the e-Procurement / e-Sourcing domain simultaneously. One of our partners had moved
out, and my father wanted me to work in the interim.

6. e-Procurement Technologies Limited, Ahmedabad (Oct. 2007 to June 2009)
Position: Deputy Manager -- Marketing Support
The company offers SaaS-based e-Procurement solutions, using Java platform (OpenSource Technology,
MySQL) and eRFX engine (enabling e-Tenders & e-Auctions).
I started off as a Deputy Manager in the Marketing Support department, carried out
customer relationship management, and also performed e-Procurement & Business Development
processes, via emails, phone calls.
● I successfully managed a team of 12, along with several ad-hoc activities.
● I coordinated with clients (Govt. as well as Corporates) / project owners and the
suppliers,provided them online training. Have also coordinated with International vendors.
● Managed a project as a Key Account Manager (single point of contact) for BHEL & Essar Group.
● Provided necessary Supplier Management and Training for e-auctions.
● Co-ordinated (training & support) with suppliers for completion of e-RFX.
● Provided basic web-based training for new users.
● Management of live eRFX event, including functional support to users and 3rd party suppliers.
● Resolved and coordinated operational day-to-day issues with the suppliers.
● Got the tasks done from my team in a timely and an efficient manner.
● Worked for business development in the e-procurement domain, trying to bring in new
departments / organizations. I also did cross-selling to the vendors of our clients.
● My job profile included working online as well as offline i.e. over the phone as well as corporate

as Corporate houses.

● At abcprocure, I had won accolades not just from my Seniors, but also from the HR as well as the
Seniors of other department.
● I had worked as an Account Manager, in the second month of joining the company, and
managed a corporate account and all its activities.
● Got a Govt. contract for my e-Procurement department.
7. Motif India Inc., Ahmedabad (Feb. 2004 to Oct. 2007)
Position: Process Specialist (a designation / title assigned between a Sr. CCR and a Team Leader at
Motif)
This is a web-based & voice-based KPO. I worked as a Process Specialist for the web-based process.
Here, my job profile was related to the international travel industry (airlines, rental cars, vacation
packages, cruises, & hotels).
● I started my job at Motif with responding to customers' inbound e-mail queries in my
project/programme. We have rotating shifts, which means our shift timings and weekly-offs
keep changing every month.
● After a few months, along with responding to customers' e-mail queries, I carried out
contentmanagement tasks i.e. modify the existing scripts whenever required, place new
content/script included for the newly set-up policies and/or procedures or products/services we
may have come up with, figure out script errors and any grammatical errors.
● I then worked for travel partner research activities, wherein I had cancelled reservations and
offered partial as well as complete refunds based on customers' problems and our
corresponding policies.
● In absence of my Supervisor and/or team leader, I have handled teams of 18 in the night shift
and 12 in the morning shift.
● I have also worked on ad-hoc work received from our clients.
● I last worked as a Fraud Investigator in the voice-based process in my project/programme at
Motif.
● I have also given presentations to our international clients, as and when required, when they
arrived in India. I also used to engage in the conversation with them once in a week’s time for
official matters and had also handled client’s email communication, whenever required.
