OPENS SEPTEMBER - This is your application for audition, admission, and music merit scholarships. The application will require you to submit names and email addresses of three people whom you wish to submit music recommendations on your behalf.

Applicants have the opportunity to audition in-person, virtually, or by submitting a final audition video. Please note some areas require a screening (preliminary video audition) for live/virtual audition consideration.

OPENS JULY - After you apply to UNT and pay the application fee, you will receive an email that includes your Student ID# and EUID. The process to receive these items may take several weeks. Please note you can begin the music application once you receive the login information - you do not need to wait until your UNT admission decision has been made.
After this date, applications will be reviewed and auditions scheduled based on remaining availability.

AWARD INFORMATIONAll students who apply to the College of Music are considered for music merit scholarships and teaching assistantship/fellowship opportunities. If you are an out-of-state student and you are awarded a competitive scholarship of $1,000 or more from UNT (music or university), you are able to attend UNT at the resident tuition rate for that academic year, including the summer term. Non-resident teaching assistants/fellows may be eligible for an employment waiver during the semesters employed.
All applicants should create a profile in the Eagle Scholarship Portal (unt.academicworks.com) prior to TUESDAY, MARCH 1, 2022. After the profile is created, applicants are automatically matched to general scholarship opportunities for which they qualify.
