Funding in this coming year will be focused upon:– Improving upon performance measures that are
not meeting the standard;– Meeting UHCC Strategic Plan Outcomes;– Meeting Achieving the Dream Goals; and– Meeting the program’s needs as outlined in
Annual Program Reviews.
Funding May Be Used For
High Wage, High Demand, High Skill CTE occupations
Strengthening existing CTE programs– Example: Meeting external/industry standards
such as NAETEF New program initiatives (may result in
funding for more than one year project)
Funding May Be Used For continued
Integration rigorous academic instruction into CTE programs
Faculty development – including the development of new delivery alternatives for existing CTE courses/programs
Expanding the use of technology in CTE courses/programs
