ALTITUDE Altitude is Soviet film which was shot

in ukraine, in 1957. Movie has 3 awards, one of them film got from international moscow film festival.

Ballad of a SoldierBallad of a Soldier is a 1959 Soviet film. Film is

about romantic love of a young couple, the committed love of a married couple, and a mother's

love of her child, as a Red Army soldier tries to make it home during a leave, meeting several civilians on his way and falling in love. The film

received the Lenin State Prize in 1961.

Gentlemen of FortuneGentlemen of Fortune is a Soviet

comedy. The stars of the film include  the most famous Soviet actors. This

film was the leader of Soviet distribution in 1972 having more than

62 million viewers.

The Diamond ArmThe Diamond Arm is a 1968 Soviet comedy. This film has become a

Russian cult film and is considered to be one of the finest comedies of this

time. The plot of this film was based on a real-life news, about smugglers who

tried to transport jewels in an orthopedic cast.

Operation Y and Other Shurik's Adventures is a 1965 Soviet comedy film. "Operation Y and Shurik's Other

Adventures" was a hit movie and became the leader of Soviet film

distribution in 1965.

Office RomanceOffice Romance  is a Soviet comedy

film, released in 1977. The film's plot tells the story of a general manager of

a statistical office, and her subordinate, who come from mutual aversion to love. Office

ThenIn Soviet times movies were more patriotic, compared to nowadays. Basically, in films was the hidden meaning – subtext, because some

things were banned, was censorship. In movies wasn`t so

many violence and cruelty as now.

Films were about love, friendship, everyday life, so in this case, films, which our parents and grandparents

have watched, did not different from nowadays.

Finding Nemo is a 2003 American computer-animated comedy film. It tells the story of

the over-protective clownfish named Marlin who, along with a regal tang named Dory, searches for his abducted son Nemo.

"Finding Nemo" is the best-selling DVD of all time.

The Twilight SagaThe Twilight Saga is a series of

five romance fantasy films based on the four "Twilight" series novels by the American author Stephenie Meyer. The

first installment "Twilight" was released in 2008. The series has

grossed over $2 billion in worldwide.

comedy-drama film. This film about young woman, who goes to New York City and gets a job as a co-assistant to powerful fashion magazine editor. The

film was well received by both film critics and the public.

NowNowadays movies contain more violence. In some films we can see the advertisement.

Unreservedly shows for us the essence, cruelty and truth of life. Today we have a

real high technical support, because of that, computer graphics is almost indispensable

thing in all films. Jokes in comedies are vulgar, cheeky.

ConclusionOur preferences in movies totally depends on our lives and on our life beliefs. We and our parents

and grandparents were raised in different conditions, was another

world and another life.

Some people say, “Now directors do not know how to shoot a comedy. Jokes are dirty and superficial. Actions are stupid and cruel, not like before.”
