Activities :Warmer up 1.Do the action for the phoneme /h/ and ask pupils to identify the phoneme.Presentation2. Demonstrate drawing simple strokes up and down in the ai, on the desk, and on the sand3. Pupils follow.4. Pupils work in group of 3.5. Each group will be given a a flash card ( upper case and lower case) Teacher introduces the letter. (Appendix 2a&2b)

6. Each member takes turn to trace the letter on the flashcard using their finger.

7. Pupils play a game, Guess Me??a) In group, a representative will look at the letter

shown by teacher secretly.b) Then, he /she write the letter on his/ her friend’s

back.c) The second member continue on the third

member.d) The last person will write on the board.

Practice8. Teacher distrubutes modelling clay to the pupils and give instructions.9. Pupils form the letter using the modelling clay ; upper case & lower case.Production10. Pupils write the words in the exercise book (five lines book).
