SCRIPTURE LESSON Colossians 3:16-17 HYMN SING For those worshipping through Zoom, you can find hymn lyrics at www.hymnsite.com or www.hymnary.org * UNISON BENEDICTION The Benediction is adapted from the choristers' prayer first published by the School of English Church Music in 1934 in the Choristers' Pocket Book. Its origins can be traced back to the 4th century when the council of Carthage decreed that cantors should be blessed with the words "Vide, ut quod ore cantas, corde credas, et quod corde credis, operibus comprobes" translated as “See that what you sing with your lips , you believe in your heart, and that what you believes in your heart you how forth in your works,”) Bless, O Lord, us your servants. Grant that what we sing with our lips, we may believe in our hearts, and what we believe in our hearts, we may show forth in our lives. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. * UNISON BENEDICTION RESPONSE In this church, Lord, be glorified, be glorified. In this church, Lord, be glorified today. In my life, Lord, be glorified, be glorified. In my life, Lord, be glorified today. (Words and music by Bob Kilpatrick. Copyright 1978, Bob Kilpatrick Music. Used by permission; CCLI License #1635691) POSTLUDE * Those who are able please stand
