CHARACTER“…a Confederate Calvary man on a fierce horse appears at the top of the embankment. Cubby looks up to see his father, “Dad!” cries Cubby. The man on the horse rears the horse back looking into Cubby’s eyes. A puzzled look appears on his face as he wheels his horse around, raises his saber, digs his spurs into the flank of the horse and commands his horse to jump the embankment disappearing back into the battle.”
