Become a North Carolina Zeitgeist Movement Sub-Chapter Coordinator or Co-Coordinator Regional and Local Sub-Chapter Coordinators and Co-Coordinators (city, region, or school) are volunteers who act as a communication liaison between the state movement and members within their respective city, region, or school. They hold community meetings (online, in-person or  both) for their city, region, or school, answer emails from local members and other coordinators, organize local activist events at least once per month , assist local awareness efforts, participate in monthly sub-chapter reporting, are moderators on the state forums, and attends North Carolina State Chapter meetings via TeamSpeak to k eep up to date with global movement initiatives. (If their schedule does not permit live meeting participation, they can catch up via post-meeting recordings.) If you are interested in creating or helping in the leadership of a chapter in your area  please review and make sure you understand and can co mply with the following guidelines: TZM Chapter Guidelines: 1.) Be able to invest about 3-7 hours of time per wee k and have regul ar access to a comp uter with internet and email correspondence. 2.) Live in the city or r egion, or attends the school or organization they are coordinating 3.) Know at least one or mor e people that wish to meet on a regular basis in support of the tenets of TZM 4.) The Movement's Orientation Guide or Orientation Video, Zeitgeist movies, the Activist Orientation Guide, Jacque Fresco & Peter Joseph lectures, and TVP/TZM F.A.Q.'s are resources that should be reviewed and studied and will help facilitate an understanding of the movement’s principals. 6.) Subchapters exist to discuss and promote awareness of The Zeitgeist Movement and the solutions proposed by Resource based economy.

i. Speaking, passing out flyers/DVD’s, Z-movie or lecture screenings, etc.

7.) Official Subchapter's should maintain a website with membership and events.

a. We currently recommend: http://www.groupsite.com/. If you need help buildingthe site let us know. Here are examples:

i. An established California sub-chapter group site:http://tzmsacramento.groupsite.com/

ii. Our new North Carolina state Chapter's group site: http://zeitgeist-nc.groupsite.com/

8.) Websites used in an official capacity should stay relevant to what TZM and TVP

advocate. No outside links, projects or agenda's should be on the homepage.

9.) Have at least one person represent your subchapter at the North Carolina State Chapter 

meetings held online using free Teamspeak3 software.

a. State meetings are currently scheduled for the first and third Mondays of 

each month at 8:00 pm. The NC state meetings are usually followed by TZM

US Chapters meeting at 9:00pm on TeamSpeak3, and it is also recommended

that a representative attend this meeting (http://tzm-usa.org/tutorials/ log on info.).

10.) Maintain communication with the state chapter coordinator about your chapter &events and submit a monthly summary report showing relevant chapter statistics, (i.e.

new members signing up, chapter events, etc.) by the 2nd of each month.

11.) Be a solution-oriented thinker who thrives on collaborative projects and keeping others

motivated.

12.) As an official subchapter please link back to the Official NC State Website on your 

site, as your subchapter and all others will be listed here.
