    Baptisms

    Baptisms are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00

    PM and 2:00 PM in both churches. If you would like to

    schedule a baptism, please call the rectory. New par-

    ents are required to attend one Baptism class. Please

    call the rectory to find out when the next class will be

    held and register.

    Register If you would like to register with the parish, please

    call the rectory on weekdays between 9am—3:30pm.

    We can register you right over the telephone. Spon-

    sor letters for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confir-

    mation are only issued to registered members of the

    parish.

    Wedding

    To arrange a wedding at St. Adalbert/St. Roch Parish,

    consult with a priest at least six months prior to the pro-

    posed date and before social arrangements. Attendance

    at Pre-Cana and Natural Family Planning Classes is

    required.

    Anointing of the Sick

    Communion to the Homebound

    Please notify the Parish Office when serious illness

    occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are

    confined to home for an extended period. Arrange-

    ments can be made to bring communion to those un-

    able to attend Mass. Please contact Parish Office at #

    Adult Confirmation Classes Available this fall in Staten Island

    The Archdiocese of New York Catechetical Office offers a special program for Catholic adults who have re-

    ceived their First Communion. This program offers eight sessions after which the one of the bishops of this

    archdiocese will confer Confirmation at a special Mass.

    To enter the program, the adult must have a letter of permission from his/her pastor and copies of both their

    baptismal and First Communion certificates, The adult must complete an online registration form. Price is

    $120 per person, $120 for an engaged or married couple. More details on this program, locations, dates, and

  • Baptism Parents Class: Our next Baptism Parents

    class will be held on Monday, October 2 at 7pm in the

    rectory. If you are baptizing a child in October you

    must attend this class. Please call to register. \

    St. Ann Society Trash & Treasure

    and Cake Sale Get ready for some fun treasure hunting on October 14 & 15 in the Parish Hall. After you shop

    you can stop by our baked goods table and take some-

    thing sweet home. Sponsored by the St Ann Society.

    If you have items to donate, you can drop

    them off to the Parish Hall on Saturday, Oct 14 at

    9am. Students looking for community service hours

    may meet us in the Parish hall on Saturday, October

    14 at 9am.

    Seniors Group: The Seniors Group will not meet in

    the Parish Hall on Monday, October 9 because they

    will be on a trip.

    PASTA DINNER The Holy Name Society Pasta Dinner will be held on Saturday, October 21 in the

    Parish Hall following the 4pm Mass. Come by your-

    self or put together a table of friends and family! Ca-

    tered by Italo Caterers.

    Save the date! The Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, November 11 from 10am—5pm in the

    Parish Hall. Get an early start on the Christmas sea-

    son! Beautiful gifts items from our vendors selling

    jewelry, purses, sweets, beauty products, toys and

    many many other wonderful things. Raffles and

    50/50 too! We hope to see you there :)

    Spiritual Retreat: St. Charles Borromeo will have a

    special triple crown retreat on Sat Oct 7. First Satur-
