Used Car Dealer In Bloom Opens With A Revolutionary New Way To Buy Used!(Bloomsburg, PA) Dear Neighbors, We are excited to announce CarCara Inc. is now open with a revolutionary car-buying process:  The “CarCara Way” and Open Book Pricing (TM). Before I explain this, I would like to first explain why we have done this.

After being involved in over 10,000 car deals across 7 different regional markets, I became fed up with many of the dealers I have worked for forcing me to be a “Typical Car Salesman.”  I grew tired of the games they made me play; the same games you have grown to expect and forced to accept. So my wife and I turned our back on these dealers, refused to play their games any longer, and decided to CHANGE THE GAME for you.

Currently, many dealerships operate under one guiding principle.  Sell you a car NOW and try to make as much money on you while doing it. To accomplish this, they intentionally withhold as much information as possible from you, try to place you at a

disadvantage, and dictate the buying process.  Buying a car can be like playing poker with a card hustler. NOT ANYMORE.

For us to change the game, we would have to change the founding principle that guides us.  WE DID JUST THAT. CarCara is building its reputation on a different founding principle:

OFFER YOU THE MOST

TRANSPARENT CAR BUYING

PROCESS EVER!

Take a look at our inventory, and you will see that we share what many

dealers keep secret.  We share what we paid for the car, how much we spent on the car, and how much markup is on the car too.  We want you to know what we know, so you can finally know what kind of deal you are really getting and be able to buy a car on your terms.

Sincerely, Sean & Cherokee SpragueCarCara Inc., Owners

LIFE RECOVERYAfter reading my book,

Life After Russian Rou-lette, someone asked me if I will ever be at peace. After thinking about it, I replied “No. Not in this life.” See, when we ex-perience pain and loss because of something that appears to be out of our control, we might feel like God is against us. I know I felt that way after my wife, Sharon, died. I was angry at God for tak-ing the only person I ever loved away from me. We may never truly grasp why God allows us to ex-perience so much pain and suffering in our lives. However, we can come to the belief that we can

have Faith that a time will come when we will under-stand God’s Will for us.

Job felt this way, too. Job said, “God has blocked my path and turned my light into dark-ness. He has stripped me of my glory and re-moved the crown from my head. He has broken me down on every side. And I am finished. He has de-stroyed all hope. His fury burns against me. He counts me as an enemy. Those I loved have turned against me. I am skin and bones and I have es-caped death by the skin of my teeth. Oh, that I could write my plea with an iron pen in the rock forever.”

(Job 19: 8-24)But despite Job’s con-

fusion and pain, how-ever, he was able to con-clude his complaint with a statement of his personal Faith in God. Job said, “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives and that he will stand upon the earth at last. And I know that after this body has decayed, this body shall see God! Then he will be on my side! Yes, I shall see him, not as a stranger, but as a friend. What a glorious hope! (Job 19: 25-27)

See and remember that God is on your side, even if you cannot see or understand it right now.

Lastly, dairy farmers work hard everyday to produce a won-derful healthy product for you and I to enjoy. they work side by side with vets, nutritionist, hoof trimmers, and have routine check ups and care for sick animals. So with this being said make sure you get your three servings of dairy everyday.

Are there Bluetooth features are on hearing

aids so I do not have to hold the phone to

my ear and listen to the whistling noises and will hear better? Are there really wireless hearing aids that “talk” to one another?

Yes. These technol-ogies are great for folks of all ages; in fact, I have had the opportunity to assist 20-somethings to 80-somethings with the hands-free Bluetooth and the wireless hearing aid capabilities. These features offer better hearing, more comfort-able and convenient listening. Wireless ca-pable hearing aids of-fer wireless listening to MP3s, computers, and televisions as well as

providing for safer lis-tening than when hold-ing a phone while driv-ing.

Advantages of the wireless technologies, referred to as ‘ear to ear wireless’ are the abil-ity for the hearing aids to communicate with one another and syn-chronize volume and program controls. This feature offers the user greater ease of use by turning both hearing aids down simultaneously when adjusting only one instrument. This feature also enhances listen-ing in a group setting as the instruments identify the location of speech and noise in real time. In other words, there is wireless communication between the right and left hearing instruments while they are worn. Both hearing instru-ments send and receive signals from the other so that they are continu-ally sharing information about the current en-vironment and control settings.

The bottom line: new hearing instrument technologies are of-fering greater ease of listening in a variety of situations.

(StatePoint) Updating your home flooring? From durability to style to color, there are many things to consider -- and you’ll want to be sure these elements match your family’s lifestyle.

Here are five great questions to ask yourself be-fore you begin the remodel process.

• How do you want the space to feel?Do you want the room to feel calming, fun, clas-

sic, dramatic or rustic? When you start to play with adjectives, you may realize you already have a di-rection in mind.

For a calm look, choose a floor color that is tonal with your wall color. Or if you’re dreaming of a dra-matic hotel look, try something deep and rich to con-trast with your walls and give an elegant base to your design.

• Do you want to play with pattern? The reason most homeowners have challeng-

es getting a space to feel like that final image on a home improvement show, is that they often chicken out before pulling the trigger on bold updates. De-signers however jump in head first, layering patterns and textures to give a space depth and a sense of home. Remember, if you love something, it’s never going out of style.

It’s helpful to think of flooring as the pants to an outfit. Choose something classic, go patterned and fun, or just wear shorts!

• Who uses the room? Who does the flooring have to serve? Is it a high-

traffic area? If so, look for waterproof, pet-proof and kid-proof carpet, such as Tigressa H2O, available at Flooring America, which can withstand tough house-hold spills and pet accidents.

If durability doesn’t play as important a role in your choice, consider plush, eco-friendly options like

Tigressa’s Cherish line, which is 75 percent finer than current soft carpet standards. Their color enhancement system protects each fiber, allowing for deeper colors and textures that stay beautiful, new and fresh longer than the average carpet.

Keep in mind that thanks to technology innovations in car-peting, you can have the best of both worlds when it comes to strength and softness. Ulti-mately, choose soft carpeting that doesn’t quickly show mat-ting, crushing and wear. To learn more about innovations in floor-ing, visit flooringamerica.com.

• What’s on trend?Gray is the new beige, and

grays and browns look great to-gether. So if you have an exist-ing brown floor, you can easily partner a room nearby with gray flooring. Most of the time, it’s all in how you accessorize the space.

• Should I be scared of color? If you have always loved a particular color, have

fun in one room with it. There are always ways to ac-

cessorize colored flooring in different combinations to change how a space feels, so you’re never stuck with one look.

Did you know those Ugly Black Streaks on your roof are a form of Fungi known as Gloeocapsa-Magma. It is an algae that has been around for years, but due to a change in the way shingles are manufactured in recent years, the Algae attack on shingle roofs can cause severe damage if not maintained. On the plus side the Algae on the roof as well as on the siding, brick, stucco, fences, decks and more can be removed at a very inexpensive cost if you clean them in the early stages. Does Your Household Need a Generator? What to Consider

(StatePoint) With increasingly volatile weather pat-terns and a growing reliance on technology, more people are becoming familiar with the benefits of having a back-up generator at home. But beyond the importance of immedi-ate back-up power in the event of an outage, a generator can have many other benefits in your life -- at home and when you’re on-the-go.

Given the lower prices of today’s models, generators are becoming a product more consumers choose to pur-chase. Here, Jason Sutton, vice president of Sales & Service at FIRMAN Power Equipment, offers tips for finding a suitable back-up generator for your house-hold, and advice on getting the best use out of it.

• Go Camping or Hunt-ing: Take your campsite to the next level. Even if you’re roughing it, you’ll be happy to be able to charge the gadgets and keep the mu-sic going at your campsite. For ease of travel, consider a lightweight inverter gen-erator designed for mobil-ity. Inverters provide fuel efficiency, clean power for sensitive electronics, and a quiet motor that won’t bug fellow campers at neighbor-ing campsites.

• On the Water: A back-up generator can make your next boating trip a more comfortable experience. Just be sure to follow safety precautions -- never oper-ate your generator in an en-closed or wet space.

• Tailgating: Cold pizza never hurt anybody, but you can do better than that at your next tailgate party.

And a backup generator can assist you with this culinary effort. Whether you’re blending up a batch of mar-garitas, or keeping the chili steaming throughout the day, you’ll be glad to have a source of long-term power.

• Shopping for a generator: When shopping for a generator, make an informed consumer decision with a little groundwork. First, determine your wattage requirements by listing the running watts and starting watts for each device you intend to power at once, and add them together. Other factors to consider are the type of fuel you prefer and what your generator’s primary use will be – whether that’s home emergencies, RV road trips or tailgate parties.

To learn more about FIRMAN generators, which cost about half or less the price of other leading brands, visit www.shopfirman.com, to take advantage of a special price offer of 15 percent off by entering promo code “readers” at checkout.

At home and on-the-road, sometimes power is critical. For peace of mind and happier trails, consider a backup generator for your family and household.

Creative Ways to Use Fresh, Summer Ingredients

(StatePoint) In sum-mer, the abundance of fresh ingredients can be overwhelming, es-pecially if you stick to the same old recipes. Make more of the fresh produce available to you at the grocer, farmers market and even your own garden, by thinking creatively.

To help, the summer food experts at Betty Crocker are offering some great ideas for us-ing fresh, seasonal pro-duce.

1. Save the best ber-ries for later.

Berry season is far too short. Make it last longer by freezing berries for the cooler months. Choose fruit at peak freshness, and then store it in high-quality freezer bags that seal tightly, removing as much excess air -- fruit’s worst enemy -- as possi-ble before freezing. La-bel bags with the freeze date and remember: a full freezer is more effi-cient, so stock up!

2. Take advantage of fresh tomatoes.

If you have more fresh tomatoes than you know what to do with, consider these creative uses:

• Caprese Salad. Layer sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella slices and basil. Drizzle with olive oil and a good bal-samic vinegar. Sprinkle with salt and serve.

• Bruschetta. Served on small slices of toast-ed bread, bruschetta is a perfect appetizer for any dinner party.

• No-Cook Pasta Sauce. Marinara sauce can be too heavy for summer, but a raw sauce showcasing fresh tomatoes is perfect. Try Rigatoni and Tomatoes for a great introduction.

3. Add a touch of sweetness to zucchini.

Managing the boun-ty of garden-fresh zuc-chini is always a chal-lenge, so think beyond the main course. You can make the most out of the humble sum-mer squash with baked treats like pineapple zucchini bread, zucchini bars and chocolate zuc-chini snack cake.

4. Bake with fresh berries.

Baking with fresh berries is one of the highlights of summer-time. Favorite desserts that call for freshly picked strawberries, raspberries and blueber-

ries include classics like fresh strawberry pie, but also inventive creations like brownies and ber-ries dessert pizza and blueberry cheesecake bars.

5. Make pickles easy.Preserving the

summer bounty of cu-cumbers doesn’t mean you need to spend days canning. For a tasty shortcut, layer cucum-ber slices, onions and carrots in a glass con-tainer. Mix with sugar, vinegar, salt and dill weed. Cover and re-frigerate for at least 24 hours, but no longer than two weeks.

6. Make berries last with freezer jam.

Freezer jam is a smart way to hold on to summer’s fresh berries without the hassle of traditional jam. Try this recipe for Strawberry Freezer Jam:

Mash 4 cups straw-berries, until slightly chunky, to make 2 cups. Mix with 4 cups sugar in large bowl. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes, stirring oc-casionally. Mix 3/4 cup water and one package powdered fruit pectin in 1-quart saucepan. Heat to boiling, stirring con-

stantly. Boil and stir one minute. Pour hot pectin mixture over strawberry mixture; stir constantly three minutes. Immedi-ately spoon mixture into freezer containers, leav-ing 1/2-inch headspace. Wipe rims of contain-ers; seal. Let stand at room temperature about 24 hours or until set. Store in freezer up to six months. Thaw and stir before serving.

More seasonal reci-pes and summer cook-ing tips can be found at BettyCrocker.com/sum-merfoods.

Summer’s flavors can be fleeting, so make culinary creations count by using the freshest in-gredients in new ways.
