    To provide access to medical

    care for underprivileged and

    medically underserved families

    around the world through

    focusing on access, education,

    and participation.

    ● Chapters contribute through their work to spread awareness, fundraising, and local service.

    ● The chaptership program currently consists of 45 active chapters across the globe.

  • VIRTUAL VOLUNTEERING

    ◉ Cards for CHNOLA and hospice● While we will not be able to volunteer at the

    hospital in person, like we normally do, we will be sending colorful and creative cards to the children’s hospital as well as hospice

    ● Volunteers will help inspire children and hospice patients and to help them cope with the hospital environment and medical procedures.

    ● Great if you enjoy helping children in a creative way!

    ◉ LITTLE BROTHERS Friends of the Elderly● Little Brothers gives us the opportunity to help the Elderly who are so often

    lonely.○ We will be able to talk with the elderly over the

    phone and help them with emotional support and creating lasting friendships with them

    ○ Volunteering is a great way to feel vibrant, connected and engaged

    ○ Great if you want to help with the community

    ◉ Trinity Community Center Tutoring○ Opportunity to help with struggling children in

    New Orleans○ Volunteers will help tutor and run after-school

    programs ○ We will help to build a brighter future for youth

    and families in New Orleans○ Good for volunteers who like children

    ◉ CrescentCare ○ Volunteers will support paid workers in

    comprehensive assistance for clients○ Volunteers will also assist in development and

    implementation of programs○ Volunteering here requires awareness and

    sensitivity when addressing issues with HIV/Aids and LGBTQ related issues

    ○ A great place to volunteer for interest in areas of medical business, development, and LGBTQ+

  • POSSIBILITY FOR IN-PERSON VOLUNTEERING◉ This semester, we are working

    towards doing a hybrid form of volunteering. ○ Those that are interested and

    feel comfortable volunteering in person will be given the opportunity to do so

    ○ Currently, there are in-person tutoring opportunities and potential clinical work with Crescent Care

  • LOOKING AHEAD

    FIMRC provides medical service trips provided it would be safe and COVID freeClinic sites at various locations across the globe: Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, India, Nicaragua, Peru, Philippines, and Uganda

    All funds raised go directly towards FIMRC health clinics and to help fund specific projects

    ◉ Last semester we raised money for a latrine project in the Dominican Republic
