PRO GUITAR COURSE

About The Course• The courses can take in students at very basic levels and then

progress them to more advance concepts and techniques over three distinct levels of learning.

• To teach our internationally authored curriculum, we source faculty from some of the most famous music schools and conservatories from around the world including the Manhattan School of Music, Conservatorium Van Amsterdam, HKU School of Media - Amsterdam, BIMM, Alchemea, etc.

• We also have Foundation workshops which are 1.5 hrs per week taught over the weekend and evenings. Whatever your skill level and whatever your ambition, we have a course/workshop that suits you.

Course Overview• Pro Guitar Classes Level 1 is for those students beginning on

the instrument that desire to have their knowledge and skill level jump-started to the next level.

• Pro Guitar Classes Level 2 is designed for intermediate guitarists with some knowledge of music theory.

• Pro Guitar Classes Level 3 is designed to help students with advanced ability with the guitar hone their skills even further.

Music Theory And Ear Training

This module concentrates on teaching the fundamentals of music theory. It covers the language of music, the recognition of tones, harmonies and rhythm and how to translate that into a written form. This module will teach you to listen to intervals and recognize the relationship between notes and understand the context of this in terms of songs and music.

INSTRUMENT : GUITAR

These classes focus on tuition on your chosen instrument. It will help you understand your instrument and the techniques used in performing. For example, Guitarists will learn scales, bar chords, fingering techniques (left hand) and strumming techniques (right hand) building harmonic and rhythmic abilities.

Ensemble

The Ensemble course is designed for students to get the experience of performing on a weekly basis with other students. Through the learning of repertoire they will gain the skills needed to be able to perform as a band, and display a level of professionalism in a performance situation.

Faculty:Odysseas Toumazo

Odysseas Toumazou was born in Cyprus in 1989. At the age of 6 he started playing classical piano and classical guitar. It was only a few years later that he switched to electric guitar, while at the same time he got private lessons in jazz guitar, composition and jazz theory.

His career started from an early age, working as a session musician and performing live on TV and radio shows with famous Greek artists, where he gained a lot of experience playing in different styles and doing studio work.
