the Native advertising imageindex™ is a

quarterly analysis of the top 10 most engaging

brand images used in native advertising

campaigns that ran across tripleLift’s publisher

network in Q4, 2014.

the tripleLift imageindex represents a holistic

measure of the overall effectiveness of a

particular piece of visual advertising content.

the index value is calculated based on a

number of performance factors including

mouseovers, clicks, shares, conversions, post-

click site engagement, and an estimate of the

number of users reached via social sharing.

these performance factors are weighted based

on the number of impressions served, audience

composition, inventory characteristics, as well

as the geographies in which the campaign is

in market. a higher score represents a more

effective image.
