THE MAGIC PAPER BOX WILL BE OPEN ALL SUMMER!

WI Valley Lutheran High School is blessed to again be participating in the Magic Paper Box

program. This is an easy, cost-free method to raise funds to support WI Valley Lutheran High School.

Basically, it’s saving paper that you would nor-mally throw away, bringing it out to The Valley

next time you stop in, and WI Valley will receive payment for the value of the paper that has been collected. The types of paper that can go into the Magic Paper Box include: newspaper (including the glossy inserts), magazines, catalogs, greeting

cards, office and school papers, window enve-lopes, paperback books, and any mail that you feel comfortable recycling. Things that should not go into the Magic Paper Box: NO food/cereal/soda boxes, NO textbooks or hardcover books, NO

colored paper, wrapping or tissue paper, NO trash. This is a win-win for WI Valley and for our Earth!

Announcing: A New Model of Governance. After months of research and careful deliberation, on Sunday, May 23rd, Trinity Voters elected to revise our constitution and bylaws favoring a more policy based than board based form of governance for our church. Therefore, the next few months will be a “transition period” as we put in place your vision for that part of the church. What does this mean for you? It means as we transition from the Boards, their wonderful work and ministry will not go away but be redefined to communicate and share a single vision for our church. Pray how you might be involved. Pray for the Nominating Committee as they prepare a slate to put forward as the new Church Council for the remainder of the 2021 calendar. It means that for the first time in decades, you’re invited to elect the members of the Council at 6:30pm on Thursday, July 22nd. Finally, it means you can expect God to continue blessing the ministry we offer in His name.

ScriP neWS for July 2021 Here we are getting ready to celebrate July 4th.

Summer months sure seem to go by fast. Thank you for buying scrip. With your support we

are giving back to church at least $1000.00 monthly. We will be getting back to selling at church very

soon and hope to get that profit up there. If anyone would like to sell scrip at the church services, please

let Grace Frick or myself know. Kentucky Fried Chicken has raised their profit to us from 8% to 20%

which is quite an increase and we thank them for their generosity. We will also be carrying $10 and

$20 amounts. Don’t forget we have $5 cards for The Grand Stand. I will also be contacting The VFW for

gift cards. Please help to support scrip and give it a try. Thank you again to our buyers. Have a great summer. Happy July 4th!!
