SUNDAY BIBLE STUDIES—These Bible classes resume at 9:30 a.m. NEW SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY FOR APRIL-"Encounters with the Risen Lord" Jesus appeared to more than five hundred believers between His resurrection and ascension, some of whom did not immediately recognize Him. Do we? This four-session study looks at many encounters with the risen Jesus: past, present, and yet to come. How do these encounters impact our lives and faith? Leader: Mike Dixon Location: Rooms 4-5. NEW BIBLE STUDY STARTS APRIL 24 – “BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS” – a Bible study on personal peacemaking. How do you face an unresolved conflict ? Want to learn some practical, specific and biblical strategies? This six-session series will help you appreciate the gift of reconciliation in Christ Jesus and improve your service as Christ's ambassador in daily life. Leader: David Brown. Location: Church Lounge. 252—HOPE: Believing something good can come out of something bad. That’s what Kindergarten–5th graders are talking about this month at 252. 252 (from Luke 2:52) is designed to help kids grow in faith and learn how to live it in the real world. We meet from 9:30-10:30 a.m. each Sunday in the Early Childhood Center. There is small group conversation and time as a large group. If your child hasn’t been, bring them to try it out! NEW BETH MOORE BIBLE STUDY—Monday Night Ladies Bible Study will be starting a new Beth Moore study on Monday, April 11 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel. We will be studying “Stepping Up” which includes the Psalms of Assent (Psalm120-134). These are the Psalms the Israelites sang as they ascended Mt Zion on their way to Jerusalem for the annual festivals. >ENGAGE GOD’S PEOPLE WOMEN: DO YOU NEED TO FEEL LIFTED?—A Journey To The Heart Women's Conference 2016 is April 16 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Sterling Inn and Banquet Center. The speaker is Tammy Trent, who will share her story of tragedy, restoration, healing and hope. Registration brochures are at the Welcome Center and in the church office. >ENGAGE THE WORLD TRINITY ECC SUMMER CAMPS NEEDS YOUR HELP! Trinity is planning a wonderful, updated, FUN summer program for school age kids! We are in NEED of people and things! Do you have a special talent you can share? Do you have a passion for cooking, sewing, gardening, woodworking, car maintenance, arts and crafts? Would you consider sharing this passion with the school age kids this summer over the course of a few days or a week? Do you have a middle schooler or high school student looking for something meaningful to do this summer? We are in need of several items. Do you have some board games, yard games or electronic games you can donate? How about gardening or cooking tools? See the website for a list of needs. BOTTLE/CAN RECYCLING—Trinity’s Groundwork Guatemala mission team is collecting returnable cans and bottles to purchase supplies for the trip. STOCK THE SHELVES—On the first Saturday/Sunday of each month, the Food Pantry volunteers will be collecting donations outside the church entrances. The food pantry needs shampoo, dish soap, laundry soap, deodorant, soap, boxed potatoes, pancake mix, syrup and canned fruit. Donations can also be left in the hallway near the nursery or the Church Office.

LIFETREE CAFÉ— Lifetree is well designed to be a comfortable God space for you to bring a friend who might be interested in or blessed by a given topic. Sundays, 7-8 pm at Gumbo’s, 53 N. Walnut St., Mt. Clemens.

Upcoming meetings include April 19, May 17, June 21, July 19, Aug. 16, Sept. 20, Oct. 18, and Nov. 15. Bring a brown bag lunch.

>SCHOOL AND EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER REMAINING CHAPEL OFFERINGS support Groundwork Guatemala. This week, students were reminded to bring offerings with a piece of yarn tied around their finders. The offering will support Trinity’s sponsored students in Guatemala. They include Armando along with Gerson, Gustavo, Edison, Wilson, Alexander, Jorge, Martin, Dulce, Sonia, Claudia, Kimberly, Evelin, Leesly, and Libny. PLEASE don’t let them down! Please encourage your student to bring in their chapel offering each Wednesday until the end of the year. BAND INSTRUMENTS WANTED—The school is looking to have as many instruments on-hand for our band students to use by creating a donation program that provides each band member an instrument. We have a few instruments that the school owns, but the majority of our families have to rent them each year. If you have an instrument to donate, please bring it to the school office. HELP NEEDED FOR FIELD DAY—Field day is a wonderful event for the students which is traditionally held at the end of the school year. This year, Field Day is in the afternoon on June 9 This event requires MANY volunteers to make it work smoothly! Please call the school office to put your name on the list to help. WALKATHON PRIZES NEEDED—Prize donations for the annual Walkathon are being collected! If you are able to help make the Walkathon a success and loads of fun for the kids contact Shannon at 586-634-8868. KITE DAY IS APRIL 23—Join us in celebrating the Month of the Young Child at the Early Childhood Center’s annual Kite Day event from noon to 3 p.m. on April 23. Rain or shine. Make and fly your own kite, play BINGO, enjoy stories. Hot dogs and drinks will be served from 1– 2 p.m. Call 586-463-8803 for more information.
