as the primary location for providing

Theoretical Inspection knowledge to

Inspection personnel.

The center is presently focused on a

pilot program providing high intensity

training for ITS Saudi Contractpersonnel.

The program is targeted to themajority population of ITS. (Electrical,Civil and Plant Equipment & Welding).

The program is providing classroomtraining with Mentor support.

Each ITS Contractor will be required

to develop/utilize an approved

program to train their Inspection

personnel in preparation forperforming work for Saudi Aramco.

The training will be audited to ensure

compliance with the needs of SaudiAramco.

An NDT training program is being

researched through Hafr Albatin College.

Jubail Technical Institute Is developing a

Basic Inspector Training Program incoordination with T&CD and assistance

from ID.

Advanced Inspection training is required

either through the Contractor or Approved

vendor courses.

ID is actively pursuing International

certifications for Inspection personnel

to become a Best in Class

organization.

Certifications will be gained from

ASNT, API, AWS, ASME and similar

internationally recognized entities.

ID personnel are being developed in

multiple disciplines in order to utilize

manpower resources more effectively.

Identified personnel are being providedwith classroom and field training to

accomplish the cross training program.

Validation of successful cross training will

be achieved through use of the Approved

JTSs for Inspectors.

At the present time there are 137

personnel planned for cross training

in 11 disciplines.

The resultant cross discipline

expertise will greatly enhance the

flexibility of Inspection personnel.

and qualified in the 6-Sigma program.

6-Sigma Training
