Technical certification Training

Allied Telesis offers a range of technical certifications, from basic installation, to the expert level required to understand the technologies and products that make up your network.

Technicians responsible for installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting Allied Telesis solutions within a network, will find these certifications invaluable.

All our courses are led by expert Allied Telesis instructors, incorporating hands-on lab practice in an environment designed to simulate a real network; allowing attendees to master the skills and knowledge necessary to work with Allied Telesis solutions and the technologies that manage them.

Fundamental Solution Training / Video Surveillance (FST/VS)

DurationTwo days.

PrerequisitesGood basic experience of using a computer.

This training course provides an introduction to Allied Telesis networking from a video surveillance perspective, beginning with the basics of installing unmanaged Allied Telesis PoE switches, with IP security cameras. After some theory in networking fundamentals, it moves on to Allied Telesis managed PoE switches, focusing on the Web-based GuI and touching on the command Line Interface (cLI.) The FST/VS can be taken as a standalone course, or as a precursor to the certified Allied Telesis Technician (cAT/ENT) course, which provides a greater depth in networking concepts. While the course has a strong focus on video surveillance, it can also be used as an introduction to Allied Telesis products, regardless of the implementation.
