Our name was inspired by the famous heart of London, Trafalgar Square,

that had been a significant landmark for centuries, marking the official

centre of London to which all distances across the UK are measured.

Trafalgar Square represented a proud victory in British history since

Nelson’s Column was built to commemorate Admiral Horatio Nelson, who

died at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. But to the amusement of many, its

very name has no meaning in English at all. In fact, it commemorates

East-West cultural exchange as it derives from an Arabic name of the

battle site, which was named by Arabs of Spain (al-Andalus at the time),

to mean ‘The Farthest Side’.

Trafalgar Global was founded in 2007 in United Kingdom and Saudi

Arabia as a bridge of knowledge exchange between East and West. TG

believes in empowering businesses, organisations and institutions

through embracing management best practices tailored to meet local

needs. Trafalgar Global specialty in providing unique border-crossing

OBEIDA NAHAS

Obeida assumes the position (Partner) at Trafalgar Global, with over 15 years of working experience inproviding practical advice and consultation on public relations, international relations and leadership.

Obeida worked as a journalist and editor in news agencies including Quds Press International NewsAgency, was a co-founder of a leading Arabic electronic media project and has published several articles inArabic newspapers and news websites. Additionally, he founded and managed The Levant Institute inLondon 14 years ago with focus primarily on developing and publishing articles, reports, studies and newsabout Middle Eastern affairs. Moreover, Obeida provided media consultation and developed publicrelations strategies for governmental institutions, NGOs and companies through Trafalgar Leadership andManagement the predecessor of Trafalgar Global.

Obeida is actively participating in political workshops and events conducted by regional and local thinktanks about different Middle East affairs.

Obeida got exposure during his career in different industries including Education, GovernmentalInstitutions, Media & Entertainment, NGOs, Political Organizations, Professional Training & Coaching, PR &Communications, and Think Tanks.

He has a BSc degree in Political Sciences from University of Jordan, and MSc degree in DevelopmentStudies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) - University of London, and is currentlypreparing his PhD thesis at University of Exeter.

MOHAMMED YOUNIS

Mohammad assumes the position (Partner) at Trafalgar Global, and is a Certified DiSC Trainer andConsultant, having over 20 years of experience in designing corporate strategies and business plans,setting KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for different functions, organizational re-structuring, humanresources development & training, and people profiling & assessment through out the Gulf region.

Mohammad contributed significantly in planning and launching the operations of non-Saudi companies atKSA market in the training & education sector for well known big players such as Berlitz and the CanadianAcademy for Learning for a long fruitful periods of time.

Mohammad has been working as a management consultant since 2007 believing in human potentials andcapacity building by designing and delivering several workshops in soft skills for different institutes, andhelping matching jobs with individuals’ capabilities and tendencies through using specialized andsophisticated tools like DiSC and some Thomas International products.

Through out his career, Mohammad was able to design and implement operational processes andprocedures with tight linkages to IT systems which converted the manual environment into a totallyautomated one with tremendous impact on business.

Mohammad got exposure during his career in different industries including ICT, Education, GovernmentalInstitutions, NGOs, HR Training & Development, Retail, and Think Tanks.

Samer assumes the position (Partner) at Trafalgar Global, bringing more than 14 years of experience inmanaging the operations of leading marketing and advertising agencies in the Middle East.Samer worked with many of the leading companies in the field of marketing and advertising companies such asDrive Agency, Full Stop Agency and Uturn YouTube Channel. He also contributed to many non-profitorganizations on the strategic and operational levels. He was a founding member of a humanitarian non-profitorganization officially registered in Switzerland in addition to two other organizations registered in Britain.

Samer contributed to the development of many of the marketing plans and media strategies and he carried outa number of successful advertising campaigns for well-known commercial brands.He was part of the leadership team who supervised and carried out several buying and selling stakes operationsat Al-Saria Media Group and most recently the partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel Group.

Samer has a great experience in the management of startups and small businesses, by developing work systemsthat maintain a constant high growth , profitability and the entrepreneurial spirit.

HUSSAM KAZIHA

Hussam assumes the position (Partner) at Trafalgar Global, bringing more than 13 years of experience in the areas oforganizational development and human resource management in Middle East. During his career, he offered servicesas a consultant as well as a manager in the aforementioned fields at local and international companies in SaudiArabia, Jordan and Egypt.

Hussam has worked with many leading for profit organizations such as Ernst & Young, ImpaQta, KPMG, Acxiom,Gulf Advisors, Waad Holding, Ketab Technologies and Impact MENA. Also, he worked with many NGOs, on theoperational and strategic levels. Hussam was a founding member of a humanitarian non-profit organizationregistered at Switzerland in addition to two other NGOs in the UK.

Hussam played a key role in improving the growth of companies he worked with through a series of internaldevelopments like preparing and developing HR manuals, organization structure design and re-structuring,developing job descriptions (JDs), designing salary scale and benefits scheme, developing performance managementsystems, beside other organizational-related work like a comprehensive company assessment which provides anintegrated road map to enhance the strengths points and improve the areas for development. Additionally, Hussamset up a system of competencies both technical and behavioral ones for one of the best schools in Saudi Arabia.Moreover, he was part of the team that created the first training program for entrepreneurship in Jordan for the ICTstudents at Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Jordan.
