Entry Protocols
Scholars will...
I. have their temperature taken before entry (scholars with a
temperature of 100.4 or higher will be quarantined and a
parent or guardian will be called—scholars will not be released
without and adult on their BlueCard present)
II. be required to wear a mask
III.remain in one classroom for the day – teachers will rotate

Instruction
Remote:
Scholars who are 100% remote wil l be expected to follow their
school schedule from 8:00 am – 1:29 pm. Lessons wil l be l ive daily.
Blended:
Scholars who have chosen to do a blended model wil l receive their
in person classes on the designated days and wil l have remote
assignments and projects assigned on their scheduled remote days.
Instruction: Learning Platform
✓ Teachers will continue to use Google Classroom for posted
assignments and Google Meets for live sessions
✓ To access their course posted assignments and Google Meets
sessions scholars will need to activate their NYC DOE email
accounts.
Instruction: Scholar Expectations
❑ Scholars must be in uniform in-person and virtually
❑ Scholars cameras must be turned on
❑ Scholars must bring their electronic device to school daily
❑ Scholars must arrive to in-person and virtual classes on time
and prepared
Instruction: Teaching
1. At this t ime we have scheduled all scholars with August Martin
teaching staff.
2. Scholars with disabil it ies wil l receive their IEP
mandates. Scholars who are 100% remote wil l receive their
mandates remotely. Scholars who are a part of the blended
model wil l receive their mandates in-person.
3. English as a New Language scholars wil l receive their
recommended supports. Scholars who are 100% remote wil l
receive their mandates remotely. Scholars who are a part of the
blended model wil l receive their mandates in-person.
