On, the 17th of Tam-muz five devastating calamities fell on the Jews and on this day we pay our respects to the people who were victims of these ca-lamities by fasting and praying. Also known as the fast of the fourth month as said in the Book of Zecha-riah and in Hebrew its known as Shivah Asar bTammuz . The five calamities are Moses broke the two tablets of stone on Mount Sinai, The daily Tamid offering ceased to be brought. The walls of Jerusalem were breached which proceeded to the destruction of the Temple, Prior to Bar Khobas revolt Roman military leader Apostomus burned a To-rah scroll and the last is an idol was erected in the Temple. We can not pretend this did not happen and we can not re-write history instead we fast to face it and use this to mark the three week mourning of Tish B Av. Because this is a minor fast day we have to embrace it. We can not un-write what has already been marked down in the Jerusalem Talmud. We need embrace the custom of the fast and the custom of the prayer this is not a minor holiday and not any else. Zechariah was right in this fourth month it is mandatory to fast and overcome these calamities. The tragedies that have fallen on these days have devastat-ed us but, we have come over more tragedies so embrace this holiday in the Cycle of Fasts.

Hi, my name is Elan. I am 10 years old. All of the danc-ers of Tovushi were dancing in Seaside Park in the begin-ning of the summer. A lot of people were there. I was very nervous but I did it. I had a great time dancing. I saw a lot more performances from different sport like ballet. I had a lot of fun. I spend a lot of time with my friends and danced with them. When I danced with my team we got a very be applause, a lot of people were watching us. I know next time I will be AMAZING.

Elan. 10 years old.

Hi my name is Jonathan. I am 8 years old and I am a dancer in Tovushi. I performed in Seaside Park. I had a lot of fun. I saw many tents with different stores, hospitals and commercials. When I danced I felt like I was really good. I saw a lot of kids who were dancing. It was very interesting and we had an amazing time.

On June 8,2014 me and my dance group danced Lezgin-ka in Seaside Park. We performed three dances. There were so many dance groups performing but I thought that we performed the best. This was all because of our teacher Zorik Gavrilov. I hope that we will keep on dancing to get better and dance more often.

Nikita M. 6 years old.

On June 8, 2014, Tovushis dance group performed at the Annual Russian Herritage Month

Festival. Me and my other friends performed at Sea-breeze Park on the largest stage I have ever seen. This was my first public experience. There was a lot of people. I was surprised when it was such a hot day and so much people came. There were also so many more dance groups. They were all so good just like us. But this couldnt happen without our dance teacher Zorik Gavrilov and also the director of our center, Viktor Abayev.

I think this will happen more often. And this was a good experience for me and my other friends. And for doing so well we all got so much presents. We all had fun!

On Sunday May 11, 2014 we had a tournament for Vic-tory Day. Actual veterans who fought in World War II were there. The veterans were given flowers and medals by the coaches of F.C. Tovushi.

The game was held at Bill Brown Playground by F.C. Tovushi and four teams faced each other. These teams are Foreal, Chernomorets Queens, and F.C. Tovushi. F.C. To-vushi had two teams playing for them. One team was the big kids and the other team small kids. The small kids from F.C. Tovushi played against the small kids from Chernomorets Queens first. Then the big kids from F.C. Tovushi played against the big kids from Foreal. The finishing score for the small kids was 2-2. The finishing score for the big kids was 5-3. In my opinion, last years small kids from F.C. Tovushi played much better. They played more like a team. They were very confident in themselves. They passed to each other. This year there were many good kicks to the goal. Nikita M made the only two goals, Andrew L and Mykola S played great

defense, Daniel B had great passes, Artumy K had potential to steal the ball, Nikita C was a fast runner, and of course our goal keeper Eliaho A played great. I also want to thank a very special girl from the Chernomorets Queens named Nastya who helped F.C. Tovushi succeed in the game with the big kids. A special thanks to our coaches Aron Z and Vitalik I. And a big, big thanks to our sponsor Viktor Abayev.
