Tour around central Ukraine Day 1. Arrival in Kyiv

Arrival in Kyiv. The group is met by a company representative.

A survey excursion about Kyiv (Shevchenko Blvd., Volodymyr Cathedral, Volodymyrska Str., Opera and Ballet House, golden

Gates, Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Square, National reserve of XI century “Sophia Kyivska”, Mykhailivskyi golden-domed monastery,

Independence square, Podol, Dnipro embankment, memorial to Kyiv Founders, park “Askold’s grave”, Khreschatyk street) – a bus

excursion). Lunch. Excursion to the National Kyiv-Pechersk historic-cultural reserve and functioning monastery – Kyiv-Pechersk

Day 2. Uman – Odesa

Breakfast at the hotel. Checking out. Leaving for Uman.

Visiting a dendrological park “Sofiyivka”. The park is famous both in Ukraine and

elsewhere – this is one of the outstanding masterpieces of the world landscape

gardening. There are only few parks similar to Uman “Sofiyivka” in the world.

Sofiyivka national dendrological reserve occupies over 150 hectares. Lunch. After

lunch, leaving for Odesa. A survey excursion about the city: Arkadiya is the most

popular sea resort area of Odesa. French boulevard, (the oldest Champaign making

company is situated here), Shevchenko avenue, Pushkin Street (before Italians lived

there and the street was named Italian; however in 1880 the street was renamed after a great poet), Odesa sea port which is a

large trade international port, it has one of the largest passenger terminals in Europe and it is considered to be the main cruise

port of Ukraine). Transfer to the hotel. Checking in. Dinner.

Day 3. Odesa

Breakfast at the hotel. Stroll about the ancient part of the city: Prymorskyi Boulevard, Dumska square, Philharmonic society,

City Duma, the monument to duke de Richelieu, Potemkin staircases (192 steps), Opera and Ballet House – the building of 1887

once was considered to be one of the world best building, Derebasivska street – the most famous and favourite street of the

Odesa residents, Soborna square with Spaso-Preobrazhenskyi cathedral, which gave the name to the square. Lunch.

Excursion about “The Center of Shabo wine” + tasting. You will have a chance to see, to feel, to taste and to remember

forever everything which is connected with wine and wine making. Dinner. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 4. Departure

Tour to Lviv + CastlesDay 1. Arrival in Lviv

Tourists are met at Lviv railway station. Transfer to the hotel. Meeting with the guide, beginning of the excursion program, then

– a hiking tour about the medieval city. You will see: Bernardynskyi cathedral and monastery, Jewish quarter and ruins of

the synagogue “Golden rose”, Uspenska church area, Royal and city arsenal, Dominikanskyi cathedral, Armenian quarter.

Further – the heart of Lviv – Rynok (market) square and Lviv Town Hall, Rome-catholic cathedral and Boim Tower, Jesuit church.

Besides, you will visit Italian yard and “Royal rooms” museum, Bandinelli palace and Black house and a drugstore museum.

Checking in the hotel. Lunch. After lunch you will be exposed to a legend – you will visit the only museum of brewing in

Ukraine, situated on the territory of famous Lviv brewery. Returning to the hotel. Dinner.

Day 2. Mukachevo - Berehove

Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to Mukachevo. Excursion about Mukachiv castle

– an outstanding military-architectural monument of the middle ages, built to guard

and control trade and military routes which crossed there. One of the roads passed

across Veretskyi Passover and in old days it was called Great Russian gate. It entered

Middle-Danube valley near Mukachiv connecting it to Eastern Europe. This was one

of those historic ways used by settlers. Lunch. After lunch, transfer to Berehove.

Visiting tasting cellar “Old Cellar ” – it is a small but very old cellar whose walls are

covered with a thin layer of noble patina and ashes of the ages; it enjoys respect and

interest of the tourists. The brewery is situated in the mountain where northern borders of Roman Empire were;

it is more than 300 years old. Returning to Mukachevo, checking in the hotel. Dinner.

Day 3. Khust – Yaremche – Ivano-Frankivsk

Breakfast. Checking out. Moving to Yaremche. On the way to Yaremche, visiting a legendary village Iza –

a known center of twig braiding in the Trans-Carpathian area. Then you will see the ruins of Khust castle which belonged to

the predecessors of count Drakula. Lunch. After lunch you will go to Probyi waterfalls and a souvenir market. There you will be

able to purchase lots of interesting things with Ukrainian symbols. Having enjoyed the fascinating scenery, you will travel to the

city of Ivano-Frankivsk. Checking in the hotel. Dinner.

Day 4. Departure.

The Southern Seashore of the Crimea

Day 1. Yalta

Arrival in Simferopol. Transfer to Yalta, checking in the hotel, dinner.

Day 2. Livadiya - Massandra

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Livadiya park, one of the oldest parks at the southern seacoast of the Crimea.

In 1930ties the park was created by famous gardener Delinger, now it occupies

40 hectares. On February 4-11, 1945 Yalta conference of the three leaders of the

allied powers – the U.S.S.R., the U.S.A. and Great Britain (J. Stalin, F.D. Roosevelt,

W. Churchill) took place in the Livadiya palace, also an American delegation

headed by F.D. Roosevelt lived there. After lunch you will have a nice opportunity

to visit “Massandra”: to have a guided tour about the plant, to see the galleries of

wine cellars and the exhibits of “Wine making museum” as well as the process of

wine making itself, and of course to taste wine. Returning to the hotel. Dinner.

Day 3: Alupka – Vorontsov palace – Chersonese Tavrycheskyi – Sevastopol.

Breakfast at the hotel. Survey excursion: Miskhor – Alupka – “Swallow’s nest” –- from an observation platform. Visiting

Vorontsov palace and strolling in Alupka park, the latter is full of natural niceties: severe stony chaos and glassy ponds, details

of the natural southern-coastal forest and groups of beautiful foreign trees. Free time for souvenir shopping. Lunch. After lunch

visiting “Chersonese Tavrycheskyi” museum – this was the name of the city founded by ancient Greek colonists on the

south-west outskirt of the Crimea more than two thousand five hundred years ago. At resent its ruins are one of the places

of interest in Sevastopol. Boat trip about bays of Sevastopol. Returning to the hotel. Dinner.

Day 4. Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Checking out. Transfer to the airport in Simferopol. Departure.
