Feb. 17, 2018: NORTH AMERICA TO HONG KONG [IFM] Flight to Hong Kong . Feb. 18, 2018: HONG KONG [IFM/D] Arrive Hong Kong and transfer to hotel on the Kowloon side of harbour for 2-night stay. Feb. 19, 2018: HONG KONG [B/L/D] Depart this morning for a half-day Hong Kong Island tour. Star t with a r ide up to Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the sur rounding islands. Then pass by picturesque Repulse Bay as you proceed to the famous fishing village of Aberdeen to see the floating community – still very much a part of Hong Kong’s society. Visit Stanley Market where you can pick up great bargains or just browse. Lunch at the famous Jumbo Floating Restaurant then return to your hotel in the ear ly afternoon for the rest of the day at your leisure. Feb. 20, 2018: HONG KONG ~ HANOI, VIETNAM [B/D] Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi, Vietnam. On arrival in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel for a 2-night stay. The rest of the day at your leisure. Feb. 21, 2018: HANOI, VIETNAM [B/L/D] Drive to the outskirts of Hanoi and visit an agricultural market where local farmers will show you their vegetables as well as visit their houses. Return to Hanoi for lunch then visit the imposing marble edifice housing the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his wooden stilt house plus the One Pillar Pagoda. You then take a one-hour cyclo tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter allows you to catch a glimpse of ancient Hanoi and learn about traditional Vietnamese architecture. The tour includes a stop at an ancient Vietnamese long house. Enjoy dinner and the Water Puppet Show this evening. Feb. 22, 2018: HANOI / HALONG BAY [B/L/D] Visit a wholesale fruit and flower market this morning then transfer to Halong Bay where to board a luxury “Junk” (boat) for a one night cruise. You are welcomed on board to enjoy lunch while cruising past islets and fishing villages. Anchor at the Dark and Bright Caves and explore these caves by bamboo boats, then continue cruising in Lan Ha Bay and anchor ing in Ho Dong Tien to enjoy swimming or kayaking. Back on board enjoy a two for one “Happy Hour” while cruising in Halong Bay. Dock at Coconut Three Island for overnight. Enjoy a cooking demonstration to discover the Vietnamese cuisine before being served an elegant dinner . Relax this evening; enjoy a movie, squid fishing or the spa. The choice is yours. Feb. 23, 2018: HALONG BAY / HANOI / SAIGON, VIETNAM [B/D] Start the day with Tai Chi session on deck and coffee with assorted homemade pastries. There is an optional tour to visit Sung Sot Cave by hiking down 600 steps to this magnificent limestone formation. After breakfast disembark then return back to Hanoi and to the airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon transfer to your hotel for a 2-night stay. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Feb. 24, 2018: SAIGON, VIETNAM [B/L/D] After breakfast, drive to the Cu Chi tunnels, just outside Saigon. During the war for independence, Viet Cong guerillas built the labyrinth of narrow tunnels virtually underneath U.S. bases, using them to hide during bombing raids and to stage surprise attacks. Visit a farm in the area before returning to Saigon in the afternoon for a half-day city tour that includes the Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office. Feb. 25, 2018: SAIGON ~ MEKONG RIVER [B/L/D] After breakfast, drive to the Mekong Delta to embark on the Bassac Riverboat for a cruise around the Mekong River. Have lunch on-board and continue on the water, stopping for brief walking tours of the villages lining the r iverbanks with the cruise-guide. Dock at the town of Tra On for an overnight stay on-board. Feb. 26, 2018: MEKONG RIVER ~ CHAU DOC [B/L/D] Early in the morning, leave Tra On and cruise to Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta. On arrival, explore the colourful and bustling floating market at Cai Rang before disembarking. Drive to the town of Chau Doc and check in to your hotel. Take a leisurely boat cruise to visit a fish farm and Village. Feb. 27, 2018: CHAU DOC ~ PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA [B/L/D] After breakfast, board the speedboat to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. As you cross the border, visa-on-arrival and customs formalities will be completed. On your arrival in Phnom Penh transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. Later, enjoy a half-day tour of the city’s most impressive sites. Visit the Royal Palace, still the official residence of King Norodom Sihamoni, and the adjacent Silver Pagoda, also known as the Pagoda of the Emerald Buddha. See the elegant National Museum, which contains a comprehensive collection of Khmer Art, and visit historic Wat Phnom, the city’s oldest shrine.

Feb. 28, 2018: PHNOM PENH [B/L/D] Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then head just outside Phnom Penh to a peaceful rural setting for a tour of rice harvesting and duck farming plus a walk through the village. Lunch will be in this country setting before returning to the city for a tour as well as a Sunset Dinner Cruise. March 01, 2018: PHNOM PENH ~ SIEM REAP [B/L/D] Transfer to the airport this morning for your flight to Siem Reap. On arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Visit the Great Salt Lake, village and market. This evening enjoy dinner and a traditional Khmer dance. March 02, 2018: SIEM REAP [B/L/D] You will leave the hotel before sunrise and head to Angkor Wat where you can admire the majestic sunrise over the ancient temple. A fitting first glimpse of such a remarkable monument. Return to the hotel to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning your tour of the Angkor archaeological park. The fortified city of Angkor Thom covers an area of 10 square km, enclosed by a wall and wide moats; the city includes many of Angkor's most popular sights. Later, visit the crowning jewel of Khmer architecture, Angkor Wat. The largest, best preserved, and most religiously significant of the Angkor temples, Angkor impresses visitors both by its sheer scale and beautifully proportioned layout, as well as the delicate artistry of its carvings. Explore its extraordinary architecture and then have an opportunity to experience a spectacular sunset over the monuments. Dinner at the hotel this evening. March 03, 2018: SIEM REAP ~ CHIANG RAI, THAILAND [B/D] Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then meet and transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Rai. On arrival in Chiang Rai, you will be met and then transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure. March 04, 2018: CHIANG RAI, THAILAND [B/L] Meet at the hotel after breakfast and depart for Mae Sai and cross the Sai River into Myanmar and witness local Burmese life in nearby villages. Rickshaws await here to take visitors to explore a Shan style temple, home for young novice monks. Afterwards, r ide around town through lands and side streets of Tachilek, ending at a local market for shopping. Next stop is the Golden Triangle, the centre for the opium trade. From here, view the splendor of the might Mekong joining the Ruak and forming the triangle with Laos, Burma and Thailand, and then take a boat ride on the Mekong River then return back to your hotel in Chiang Rai. March 05, 2018: CHIANG RAI ~ CHIANG MAI [B/L] After breakfast at the hotel, meet and drive to a Karen hill tribe village. The inhabitants originated from Burma (Myanmar) and form the largest hill tribe population in Thailand. The Karen are the infamous long neck women who wear heavy brass necklaces around their necks from a very young age. Their weaving skills are renowned and produce beautifully colourful garments. There is a chance to shop for local handicraft before checking into your hotel. The evening is at your leisure and your chance to explore and eat on your own should your choose. March 06, 2018: CHIANG MAI [B/L/D] This morning, drive to Mae Sa Valley and visit an elephant camp, where you’ll be shown how these imposing animals work so well in the jungle (elephant and ox cart rides are included as an early booking bonus). Continue your adventure with bamboo rafting along the river. Lunch and touring will be provides at the beautiful orchid and butterfly farm. In the afternoon, visit temples dating back to the 14th century. This evening, take part in a traditional northern Lanna style dinner, known as Khantoke, featuring wonderful food and elegant dancers. March 07, 2018: CHIANG MAI ~ BANGKOK [B] Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the airport for your flight to Bangkok. On arrival in Bangkok, meet your guide and visit the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, the Emerald Buddha at Wat Phra Kaew, and the Royal Grand Palace, the nation's most revered royal monument and landmark. Afterwards, head to the hotel for some time at leisure. March 08, 2018: BANGKOK [B/D] After breakfast visit the Jones Salad Farm for a chance to learn about hydroponic farming and let them teach you how to train the vegetables without dirt. Return to hotel for some leisure time before transferring to Silom Village for a Farewell Thai Dinner and Dance performance. March 09, 2018: END OF TOUR [B/IFM] Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and at the appointed time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to North America and home.
